Product Description
The GAN 251 M is the newest 2x2 speed cube from GAN. This cube features all of the same characteristics of the 249 V2 M like great corner cutting, matte finish, a light/airy feel, and a medium magnetic strength. This small increase in size (2mm), although seemingly insignificant, is definitely noticeable and gives the solver much more control over the puzzle and ultimately leads to a better solving experience!
The Explorer version features an extra set of GES nuts: yellow, blue, and purple.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

The cube itself is great but it does not come with a gan tensioning tool. If you don’t have one it could be a big pain because the cube out of the box is unbearably loose.
I do love the feel of the cube itself it works fine best 2x2 I have tried. Turns smooth and fast while still having strong enough magnets to help control it. Only problem I do have is I didn't get my set of GES nuts that's is said to come with it. So I only can try the default clear that came in it. Other then that disappointment great cube.
Thanks for your review! I see that the wording on the product page may be confusing, but we were trying to say that the Explorer version comes with extra springs while the Standard does not. Nonetheless, I am glad to hear that you are enjoying your cube!

Ootb, this cube is very fast and light. Turning and corner cutting are great; however, the magnets are a little weak. The one big issue is the stickers. After about 100 solves, the stickers began to chip and peel. Though not a huge issue at the moment, TheCubicle does not offer replacement sets which makes this quite inconvenient.

I love the GAN 251 M and it is very delightful and is very pleasant I made it as my Main 2x2 cube.
I got mine out of a $25 mystery box, and I was so excited
So I’ve heard in the review there were lock ups but I didn’t feel any yet. Although, be careful that there is nothing to tighten the core. You must buy the tools separately. I’ve bought gan cubes previously so I am equipped but be careful. I’ll tighten it a little to add control, but over all it’s really good( my new main)
I've just got this cube today and am already amazed by it, the turning out of the box is phenomenal, worth every penny spent.
