Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Really like it!

I'm an old fogey, one who desires sub 10 but is no where close. I'm used to 1980's era Rubik Cubes that need upper arm strength to make a turn. I had a hole in my cube lineup, and needed a budget stickerless magnetic 2x2 to fill the gap. After some research, I bought this as my first one, and really like it.

Out of the box it was a little rough. Several dozen solves later it's smoother. Overall, pretty quiet. The magnet strength is OK, and usually catches a quick turn within range of the next opposite turn.

Overall, I'm quite happy with it.

Yupo V2 M: Great budget option with some minor flaws

The YJ Yupo V2 M is without a doubt one of the better "budget" 2x2s out there. Definitely a great option for new cubers who are looking to get a magnetic 2x2 that won't break the bank. Performance wise, it delivers solid overall performance, but it's personally not my preference in terms of speed, feel and magnet strength.

I've seen some people claiming that they can barely feel the magnets which leads me to believe they received a faulty puzzle, because the magnets in this 2x2 are pretty damn strong. The magnet strength results in a "bumpy" feeling, which I'm not a huge fan of, as I find that it makes the puzzle feel sluggish and not as fluid when performing algorithms. Turning this 2x2 feels like it requires significantly more effort than other "budget" magnetic 2x2s, like the Yuxin Little Magic M and the QiYi MS. The corners also twist really easily, and due to the fact that the puzzle requires more effort to turn because of the strong magnets, I end up accidentally twisting corners quite frequently during solves which is really frustrating.

As for the positives, it corner cuts very well even out of the box on the stock tensions, and once broken in, has a very smooth feeling if you can tolerate the bumpiness caused by the magnets. The stickerless shades are also nice.

Overall, although it isn't my preferred 2x2, I still think that it's a great option for the price. If you're a beginner you definitely can't go wrong buying this puzzle. An overall solid effort by YJ for a budget magnetic 2x2.

not even remotely good

The core stripped the day i got it and the edge pieces don't let the cube rotate on the y axis.

This would be really good if I'd didn't have this catastrophic issue

The reverse corner cutting near the fused piece is atrocious. It is about 70% worse near the fused piece than the reverse cutting anywhere else. Because of this I have dropped the cube around 7 or 8 times in my first average of 100. It almost makes this cube unusable. The normal cutting is fine and I pretty much never lock up due to forward cuts, it's always the backward ones. I've tried tight settings moderate settings, loose settings and even uneven tensions in an attempt to make the reverse cutting issue managable, I have not been able to. There is corner twist issue but I can mitigate it by just holding the cube a little lighter. I think I would have prefered the nonmagnetic meilong more than this. Speaking of magnets they are really strong which Is a bit too much for me. The current meta of 2x2s means that any 2x2 needs to be near perfect for it to be viable, this is not that. It doesn't react all too well with lube like dnm it gets really slow like a lot of other cubes when it gets applied. If you want a really good 2x2 for the same price get the qiyi ms. Even tho it has matte plastic it is so much better. The look of this cube is the only part thus cube excels in it looks like a flagship at the first glance. But the corners have an issue where they appear they aren't in place right and they jut out a little on the sides and are a little sharp. I think this is good for someone who collects cubes and will never touch this after the first turns.

It is pretty good but broke, but got a new piece and it is my main.

Amazing for the price

This is an incredible cube. Literally on the very first solve I got a PB. I highly recommend.

Awesome!

This 2x2 is the only 2x2 I have ever owned (for now), and I have set my current PB of .98 seconds on this cube. I do not think that this cube is too fast, and it suits me very well. Corner cutting is great, feel is great after setup. Just be careful with the corner pieces, my one corner broke while cubing, but I got it replaced pretty quickly without problems.

Not like it needs to be here, but I am working on making a maglev and magnetic core version of this puzzle, just to see how good I can make it.

Great cube! Small minor issues.

Overall, this is a great cube and pretty fast! Colors are very solid a great, and the white internals look fantastic! When I got it, it felt a bit flimsy but it went away after a hour. Turns feel a bit choppy turning slow but you’ll never notice it in a solve. Also, very durable! Dropped a few times and not even a scratch! Would 100% recommend!
