Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Superb! But I like the Tank more!

The turning on this cube is so smooth out of the box with the primary plastic installed with the pieces. The size is so big, that it is hard to turn. Maybe the get the tank if size is an important factor to you. I wouldn’t get the MF8 because it is fast and stiff as well as locky. Anyway, the corner cutting on this cube is not an important factor but it is decent. The only flaw is that the 3rd layers are slow where lose on the tank, the layers are equally smooth and speedy. This isn’t something you would use to speed solve. The Tank and the MF8 as well as the G8 are all speedsolveable. Personally I think the tank 8x8 has much better performance but if you just want to explore options and don’t want to keep looking for 8x8’s, I think the YuXin Little Magic 8x8 is a good choice to consider. In my opinion, I would just spend the extra $2 for the Tank as the size and performance are equally good and slightly better than the YLM. So overall this cube is 4.5/5 but since there is no 4.5, I’ll just give a 5. Hope this review helps

Pretty dang good...

I am not a speed cubist, I am just someone who has loved solving twisty puzzles all her life and has been amazed by the variants that have been created since the humble 3x3 hooked the world...

After recently treating myself to the Little Magic 6x6M and 7x7M and enjoying those, I took a chance with the Little Magic 8x8 and 9x9 ...

Both arrived with a bit of lube on the faces (see pic), which wiped off nicely. Unlike the 6x6M and 7x7M, these are made with the standard milky white plastic and the colors are essentially caps (so you see white instead of split colors as you turn slices). The faces are also a matte finish, which nicely adds a tiny bit more grip to these larger puzzles. I found the slices on the 6x6M to be about as small as I like for my finger size, and the 7x7M were too small due to the overall small size of the cube (which really slows me down by having to double-turn to turn a slice). Sure, they are not speed cubes - I am just talking of my preference on how I like to turn a puzzle with my fingering style... The slices on the 8x8 are only slightly narrower than the 6x6M which, combined with the bigger overall size, makes it a joy to manipulate with my larger hands. Despite the lube on the faces, this puzzle needs a little help. In particular, twisting between the third and fourth slices on every axis is pretty rough compared to the ease of literally every other slice on the puzzle. I have had no issues with pops/twists/alignment, but then I loved playing with the Alexander's Star and Dogic when they came out too, so I might be more tolerant with my methods than others!

All told, I'm very happy with this puzzle... I hope someday to see if a lube can make the 3/4 layers turn more easily, but even if I never get that chance, I'll be happy enough with it in it's current state! 🙋‍♀️

Great 8x8

This thing turns really well, I've done 2 solves on it so far. I haven't had any pops or carry overs. The shades on the cube are really nice, wouldn't expect anything less from Yuxin. This cube is massive, I have big hands so it isn't a problem for me.

THIS THING IS HUGE

This cube is bigger than my 10x10 my 9x9s and every other puzzle in my collection but it turns smooth and it's great price if you don't want to spend very much on an 8x8 and you have big hands go ahead and buy this cube

Little magic 8x8

Very decent quality puzzle, with a good price. I’ve had a lot of fun with this cube. You may have to adjust the tensions out of the box, because mine arrived too tight. Five stars

Good Price

I bought this 8x8 because I knew it was cheaper then a normal 8x8. It turns very well and is the best 8x8 for its value.

Too big recognition sucks I dropped it one foot and it exploded

I’m 5ft 8in and of you are shorter than me you will probably have smaller hands then me so it will be more of a problem to solve it. I can grip it fine and turn each layer but it’s really awkward also the 3rd layer doesn’t turn well, you haft to do about 10 solves to break it in and even after breaking it in it can still catch and it is still somewhat catchy internally. I also got 2 pieces to swap places with each other it was the corner center peace and the one right below it I had it on normal tensions but it still did that (I don’t turn actually to begin with but when you get me a big bulky cube that is really awkward to turn it just makes the problem worse) I was able to undo it in about 2 minutes but it was different also I was sitting down on the couch and had it in front of me sitting in between my legs and I wasn’t paying attention and somehow I must of pushed it (I’m really clumsy) off the couch and it completely shattered into a million pieces and that should not have happened I had on regular tensions were regular out of the box and I didn’t touch them (admittedly they were kind of lose considering they were factory tensions but still it was pretty normal tensions and that shouldn’t have happened) the core broke and I put everything in the trash because I’m not buying replacement parts and cleaning each peace one by one and then spend hours reassembling it -_-

terrible

Don't waste your money. Thus puzzle looks up every turn, even when it's perfectly aligned its turns terrible. I'm very disappointed giving that the yuxin 9x9 is such a nice puzzle!

Lots and lots of catching

I am not a speed solver by any sense. Mostly just pick a cube up from time to time. Wish I got an 8x8 with magnets instead. Slowly realizing how much more valuable magnets are for larger cubes. This cube catches a lot which makes it difficult to turn. Hands will hurt after a while of solving.

Great puzzle.

It turns fantastic, so smooth.
