Product Description

The Angstrom MGC 5x5 is a light and fast magnetic 5x5 at a great price. This puzzle features a moderately strong magnetic feel that is very similar to most flagship 5x5’s on the market. This puzzle is lubed with a balanced mixture of Angstrom Gravitas, Angstrom Dignitas, and DNM-37. This combination provides a fast and controllable feel, and is superior to a traditional silicone setup.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Incredibly AMAZING!!!

I love this cube so much! This one is better than all my other 5x5s. Even my Valk 5 M. It's cheaper than that too! I highly recommend this one if you want a really fast really stable 5x5 cube that easily competes with all the other 5x5s out there. This one is just so satisfying to solve on. magnet strength is perfect, no catching on the inner layers either. You might need to adjust it a bit if you think it's too loose out of the box, but that's up to your liking. I'm very happy with this setup, service, dedication, and time they spent preparing this cube for me! MGC is the perfect 5x5 cube to add to your collection. lots of fun to solve with!

HOLY-CRAP

this thing is insane. the amount of control you get in this cube is unreal. It is smooth, perfectly tensioned, and performs so well. I went from the budget Qiyi Qizheng 5x5 which was whatever, and my times instantly switching to this cube went from 3:11 to 2:43. thats all you need to know.

Good, but…

So I got this cube and the angstrom mgc 4x4, and I got those cubes but they also sent me a normal mgc 5x5 and 4x4, so that was weird, but apart from that the cube was a little stiff right when I started using it but it’s been a day and it feels great!

Really great 5x5, but...

This 5x5 is great, it turns well, once broken in. It is fast and more than covers what I need a 5x5 to do. There are, however, two small issues with the cube. The first is rather bad spring noise when turning one of the sides. The second is a small (permanent) blemish on the yellow side. Nonetheless, I'd recommend this cube to someone interested in 5x5 as a great option when on a budget.

like all mgs you get set up by the cubicle, this will pop unless you tighten it a bit once you tighten it you should be set. inner layers are especially magnetic if you don't like this would look for a different cube i like it though!

Yeah, Great cube!

MGC makes great large cubes. First time getting Angstrom service, but this is my 3rd MGC, starting with 6x6, then 7x7, and now 5x5. I got it because I found the MGC’s so pleasant to turn, and I only had an old stickered ShengShou 5x5, which is hard to turn unless everything is aligned. I tried ProShop and Mystic before, which are good, but I may like Angstrom better. I’d really need multiple identical cubes with the different services to compare fairly, though. But something about the tension and lube combo just really makes this cube a pleasure to turn.
