The latest version of the MoYu Pyraminx uses magnets instead of bearings for a tactile and smooth feeling when speedsolving the pyraminx.
A pre-release version of this puzzle was used by Drew Brads to break the pyraminx average world record at the US Nationals 2016 competition.
Tymon Kolasiński used this puzzle to set the 1.86 second average pyraminx world record in April 2019.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

Ordered this because I needed a new pyraminx it was great but it rattled and I figured some of the magnets were out of place I put them back and it works fine now
Pretty good buy needs to be broken in first
Out of the box this is a great pyraminx. Definitely something worth buyinging if you are looking for another Pyraminx. X-man is definitely the superior product but this is definitely a good one to have in your collection.
I enjoy this as a travel or just one I can use but I don't need to worry about too much.
After some minor adjustments I've come accustomed to using this but it still isn't a main.
Fast but pops sometimes. Would recommend X-Man Bell V1 over it.
I don’t know if this happened in shipping or not but when I ordered this cube it got to my house with almost all the magnets loose. This was my first magnetic pyraminx and it’s awful for first impressions. I enjoy using my ball bearing carbon fiber pyraminx more than this one. Once again I don’t think it’s the fault of Moyu or the cubicle, but just the shipping company that brought it to me
I don't care what you say but this is better than the xman bell the magnet strength is amazing and after lubing it with weight 5 and tensioning it halfway after setting up I got a 1.16 PB single and a 3.04 PB average this cube came in like 2016 now its 2020 and I still use it for my pyraminx main
this is my first pyraminx it came with disloged magnets and they are sooooooooooo weak its more of a noise machine
If it didn't pop so often, i would recommend this puzzle for everyone. I also have a 5.39 PB on this.
What can I say, it's been almost two years and this is still the best pyraminx on the market you can buy, in my opinion
OOTB, this cube was fast, effortless, and certainly with a distinctive sound. The magnets aren't very noticeable compared with my other magnetic pyraminx, the X-Man Bell. Whilst I checked it hadn't been lubricated, it didn't feel like it needed much setup. The tensions were perfect for my liking and I only adjusted it slightly. I put a few drops of Compound X in it to slow it down just a little (by the way that lube is perfect!) and bam, new main.
The sticker quality is very good and I have had no chipping, but the stickered version's shades are a bit dull. Personally I don't find this a problem but the stickerless shades are certainly nicer.
I've achieved multiple PBs on this cube since switching to it. With all the new pyraminxes that have come out recently like the Bell, QiMing, Z Magnetic, Black Kirin, or even the MeiChi, I feel none of them rival this cube.
However, if you don't like the light magnetic feel and fast turning, I would recommend going for the X-Man Bell, Z Magnetic or the MeiChi. I know many people don't like this turning syle and while you can adjust the tensions, the light magnetic feel stays there, so if you prefer stronger magnets go for those options I mentioned earlier.
I got it, and out of the box, it just wasn't good. The magnets are only on the tips, and lockups are common. Still, decent pyraminx, but I'd recommend an X-Man Bell over this one.
