Product Description

The Z Pyraminx is the 2nd generation pyraminx released from Z. It has a sturdy and snappy feel that resembles the feel of the ShengShou, but with Florian-style holes that allow for greater corner cutting freedom as well as a design that allows for stickerless variants to be produced. It features ball bearings that help the pieces slide into place and is slightly smaller than most other pyraminx puzzles.

The transparent version features transparent stickers. The Phantom (Stickerless Bright) version features carbon fiber black textured stickers on all 4 sides.

Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

I bought this and the magnets are too strong and the spring is super strong that even the center are popping. it came really stiff in the package and had to loosen it a lot. DO NOT SUGGEST BUYING THIS.

By looking at it

Just Looking at this cube made me think it is good. The reviews I have seen have been good (decent) and the cost is amazing. Just look at how many kinds of ways you can get this cube!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not to mention the amazing snappy feeling and the good design, this might be my new main (I am a low budget cuber & I want to have at least 5 of these) , and Since the cost is low, I can get a lot of these instead of one Moyu magnetic pyraminx. Once again This is a good cube for intermediate cubers.

Great cube for intermediate solvers

Okay, straight OOTB this cube was unbelievable. It's super freaking snappy, and I LOVE a snappy cube. It has ball bearings, which make it click into place in such a satisfying way when you turn it. I love the feel of this cube.
Second, it's pretty fast. Basically, the ball bearings hold it back a little bit, because they click, which gives a slight delay on the continuation of the turn. Other than that, It's decently fast.
Finally, it's very smooth. The fact that it's got ball bearings makes it snappy, but It's very smooth. I'm broke, so I haven't set it up in any specific way. But, with no setup, this cube has really impressed me.
The only thing I don't like about this cube is that the tips are EXTREMELY springy.
Mad props to the Cubicle for giving me this awesome wonder!

Good for beginners

this pyraminx was pretty good out of the box. But speed cubing is simply not an option. The cube most of the time is ok, with a few lock ups here or there. Overall, this is for beginner pyraminx solvers.

Decent, but pops SO MUCH!

The turning is OK. And the tips make a really bad spring noise. After a while, well until today, it exploded! Ball bearings came out, I couldnt get it back together. And speaking of the ball bearings, they seem to me pretty strong. It clicks into place pretty snug. Now for the pops, the tensions on the one I got seemed to be pretty loose. So I cant say I would recommend it. Go for something else.

Good For use of 3 months

I used this pyraminx for 3 months and it exploded and broke and i want a refund for that for a better cube. Its good for beginners to learn how to solve it but then after alot of use. IT EXPLODES. The only reason i put 3 stars is because it has good turning, not fast tho. Final Comment, I dont reccomand this.

Wrong color scheme

ok. I only got this pyraminx because it was the only one at the time that came in stickerless phantom, and when I got it in the mail after 3 weeks, it didn't have the carbon fiber stickers on the cube or anywhere in the package. overall not a very good puzzle, but a good first cube. not very fast, and if it gets scratched by dirt blown at it while you're at your brother's baseball game, then it becomes unuseable. it did come pre-lubed, however.

Good but be careful

I got this puzzle yesterday and the cube itself works amazing. It clicks right into place and doesn't overshoot. The one bad thing about this puzzle is that the tips make a springy noise which isn't bad. The corner cutting is not as good as my magnetic moyu but still good enough for me. One thing to take note of is this puzzle comes in stickerless and stickerless pink. I got the stickerless pink by accident. So be careful. Otherwise the cube is VERY controllable and stable. Unless you try corner cutting past the florin style holes. No lockups! I would definitely suggest this cube for begginers to hard intermediates. Not advanced. Have fun with this cube!

A good pyraminx

This was my first ever Pyraminx and it moved really it was a bit slow out of the box. But after I played around with it, it turned fast and smooth. A good pyraminx to start off with in my opinion.
