Product Description

The Angstrom WeiPo M is a premium-made 2x2 with a set of strong magnets installed in the pieces. The magnets inside the cube act as a positioning system that greatly enhances puzzle stability and compliance when turning quickly. The Angstrom WeiPo M is lubed with Lubicle Black on the core and a combination of Angstrom Gravitas, Angstrom Dignitas, and DNM-37 on the pieces for an incredibly quick and clean feel free from the drag ordinary silicone lubricants can produce.

The black stickered version of this cube features a Full Bright + Sky Blue sticker set applied. The stickerless version is stickerless bright.

Original puzzle made by MoYu. It features an Angstrom logo on the red side.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Bad cube

Very expensive for a 2 by 2, and have awful settings and lube. I recommend buying the cubicle labs one, which is better

Mediocre

This cube is okay. Un even tensions and bad service done to all their premium cubes. I have higher expectations than this. Please, Cubicle, do business better and don’t do a crap job.

Amazing but slippery due to the lube

This cube is amazing I got this to get sub 10 and learn Ortega method better. Right OOTB this cube was really slippery but due to the lube after cleaning out the outside i started getting amazing times , that I didn’t get with my GAN 249 M V2. This cube is amazing for its price and I would recommend this cube if your really getting into 2x2 and want to get faster.

My cube arrived on time, and had great turning out of the box. My only problem was that it was quite loud, but it is still my favorite 2x2 in my collection.

Frankly I was a bit disappointed.

The exterior of the Angstrom Cube is very beautiful and satisfactory.
BUT, The core spring sounds too loud.
Core lubrication seems to be a problem. Angstrom Research 's meticulous checks are likely to need more.

Awesome but...

This cube is beyond amazing but there is one problem I have found. This problem is that I think the magnets are too strong and it makes the cube lock up. When I am turning the cube I find myself undershooting and it keeps me from doing the full turn. This is a problem because I average around 4.3 and I always execute my algs the fastest I can and this makes it harder to look ahead because it may lockup during a solve or execution of a stage. Other than that this cube has an amazing feel and the turning is effortless and crunchy. Overall I would recommend this cube but maybe instead of the default magnets in it instead get some just a bit smaller or of less strength.

Really Good

When I first got this cube it was amazing. It automatically replaced my old main, Gan 249 V2 M. But now, the Valk 2 has finally over come the cube but this cube is still my backup main.

ANYTHING BAD ABOUT IT? NO!

This cube came in exactly 5 days which was insane because it had to be custom made so i was really really happy about that. When I unboxed it was very gummy but that wore off in about 20 solves. It improved my times by about 1 second. It doesn't have the greatest corner cutting but the magnets really help with that. It has a unique feel that isn't sandy or sluggish but i love it. The shades are incredibly nice and are very easy to recognize. It never slips out of your hand during a solve which is great for cubers like me who have a rougher turning style. No 2x2 that I have ever tried is as good as this! GET THIS ONE IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT. I plan to use it in about a month at a competition.

STRAIGHT FROM HEAVEN

This is no doubt the absolute BEST 2x2 on the market. It is so smooth and buttery and has great corner cutting. Lockups are nonexistent. I usually say in reviews for angstrom cubes that if you have a better cube I’d sure like to try it out, but for this I’m gonna say that if you think you have a better 2x2, you’re wrong, you haven’t tried this one yet. There is not a better 2x2 and might never be. As with all angstrom cubes, this is worth the seemingly outrageous price. No matter how good you are, I highly recommend this cube
