Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

OVERVIEW: The Dino Cube is the most basic version of a corner turning cubic puzzle. If you can solve a Pyraminx, the Dino Cube is no different; it's basically just Pyraminx corners. The whole cube can be solved intuitively, but the "sledgehammer" algorithm is useful to use, as well as a knowledge of the Rubik's color scheme for faster solving. For an added challenge, you can try to solve the Dino Cube in a checkerboard pattern, or with a set of opposite colors swapped. The turning on this cube is buttery smooth, and has a frosted finish. The plastic doesn't feel cheap, although some people may prefer a more glossy texture for a stickerless cube.
PROS: Smooth turning, fun to play with, and high quality build.
CONS: The smoothness is sometimes too smooth, and with no alignment mechanism, you sometimes move other layer accidentally and re-align. You quickly get used to it, but it may slow down a solve slightly.
I got this in stickerless and you can tell the shades apart very nicely. I'd even say I prefer the light blue over the darker blue most others have as it looks more unique. One thing that Dino Cubes tend to have are lock ups though and that makes or breaks the fun factor in playing around with one. I'm pretty confident that Qiyi has managed to do the absolute best it could with this though because it flies from turn to turn. It is buttery smooth, corner cuts about 1/5 a piece (keep your expectations low here as it IS a dino and thus you can only ask for so much from the intersecting angles) and never seems to slow me down as lock ups are as non-existent as a Dino can probably be. The only thing I'm a bit iffy with is the frosted plastic. Sure it doesn't show scratches like glossy would, but it also doesn't have as much grip as glossy does. So you may want to give it a clear coat or polish the pieces to a shine.
My brother bought this and it's pretty good.
I'm still fairly new to cubing and I only have 17 different cubes, but this one is my least favorite. It's constantly binding up while trying to turn it as it is so easy to accidentally move pieces with the hand that is holding the cube. It would benefit greatly from either magnets or notches/catch-points (like the Ivy cube has) in order to prevent accidental turning while holding it.
I got the stickered version. The sticker quality is great. It is very fun to solve, great for all levels of cubers alike. The only downside is when you are holding it with one hand and using the other to move the pieces, it'll twist the part you are holding. So by that I mean the pieces are pretty slippery, even dropping it will move a piece or two. You have to line everything up exactly or it will not turn at all. You are constantly having to realign it to make the next move, since they slide around a lot. But otherwise a fun cube.
Great cube I've been wanting one for a while and finally got it. One of the orange stickers was peeling when I opened it. Edges are a bit sharp and you have to line it up just right to turn it. Overall it's great and I would recommend.
This cube performs excellently out of the box. It has a moderately fast, sandy, and stable feeling, but the sandiness goes away with a little break-in. The stickerless shades are the same as the Qiyi Warrior W 3x3. I don't feel like you need to lube or tension the cube, as it feels very good without any setup. The puzzle itself is very easy to solve. I would recommend this cube to anyone looking for an easy puzzle that performs fantastically right out of the box.

The cube is very well made. The movement is smooth and can be adjusted really easily.
