Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Nice!

This is the best 4x4 I tried. At first I didn't like it much, but after breaking in its super nice. Its better than the Aosu WR M for me. I Will Recommend To You All!!

Fix!

This 4x4 is great! Now in my opinion it’s better than MoYu Aosu GTS V2 M. In the last 3 weeks review I said it is only better than the WR M. But after u play with it a lot, u will notice The Valk 4 is much better than other cubes!! It’s my main now!!

Trash

Do not even try it! It pops like crazy and lock ups really easy. Bad corner cutting and really overestimated!

New main

Initially, I didn’t think this cube was not as good as my WuQue. I was more used to the good corner cutting and the speed of the WuQue, but after adopting a lighter turning style, this cube is amazing. I chose the Valk 4 over the WuQue just because of the softer, more “pillowy” feeling as I like to say. The performance is identical, but the feeling of the cube was what made me decide to switch. I set my Valk 4 with the Ångström setup, Gravitas, Dignitas, and DNM-37. This results in silky smooth turns, yet retaining it’s original speed. My only problem is that the magnets in the inner layers feel small. That’s the only way I can describe it without you trying it. The inner layer magnets are really strong.

Pros:
Amazing feeling
Speedy
Smooth
Doesn’t pop during OLL Parity
Good corner cutting

Cons:
Inner magnets are too strong
Inner layer reverse corner cutting isn’t great

Overall, this cube is amazing. It replaced my old main, the WuQue Mini M.

Not bad, but not the best

I was pretty excited to get the cube at Nats 2019. At first, it seemed to have potential, it had a nice soft, smooth and moderately fast feeling, and was rather loose, and this causes a few lockups and some minor pops (yeah, popping was a thing... in like 2014).

Anyways, after setting up the cube with Weight 3 on the hardware, a combination of Mystic and DNM-37 on the pieces, and some tightening it didn't really improve all that much. It seems to me that this cube doesn't respond to lube as much as I would like it to. Also, I hate to admit, but PLL parity does not mix well with this cube, the inner layers catch frequently when performing slice moves.

Speaking of the inner layers, what confuses me is the magnet choice, the outer layers seem like they have much lighter magnets than the inners, keep in mind, that this is the strong version that I got. It's like if QiYi rushed the magnet strength decision instead of coming up with a reasonable strength.

Corner cutting isn't anything impressive either, I haven't tested it in a while but from what I can recall, it would probably be under 45 degrees for normal cuts, and half a piece for reverse. This may be the tensions I have on it, but I am not completely sure.

Overall, I can't really suggest this puzzle unless you are devoted to the time of doing serious work on it. The AoSu GTS2 M is honestly a better choice, it's only $5 more expensive, and doesn't require nearly as much work as the Valk 4 does.

Valk 4M Strong

Overall great 4x4, however I have had minor issues with popping in intense solves/turns. But that is nothing tensioning can’t fix.

Great 4x4

I love solving this cube. It has a very subtle crunchiness, while having a lot of smoothness and speed. If you like the feeling of other Valk cubes, this will not disappoint. The Valk 4 is my main only because of that. The Valk is a bit better to me, but it takes a lot of setup. I would call it, The Lube Drainer. It needs frequent setup, and it takes a lot if lube to set it up. In the long run, you are saving miney buying one of the Moyu 4x4's but the Valk is a better cube to me. It's hard to maintain speed with the Valk 4M. But if you like Moyu cubes more, definitely buy the Aosu GTS 2M or WRM, because you will probably like it more.

P.S if you are picking between the Standard and Strong version, I'd say pick the strong version. It makes it just a tiny bit slower, but keeps it way more stable.
