Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

My friend got this cube and first impressions is quite good, he let me borrow it for one week and I started not liking it. I mean, its just a bad GAN 11 M Pro really. I recommend the GAN 356 XS because it is only 8 dollars more expensive and you can change magnet setting in three ways.
GAN 11 M Duo 3x3
Let me start off by saying that this is an excellent cube. The performance is great, it has a unique feel, and finding a cube with a better combination of stability and corner cutting would be pretty hard to do. BUT, I would not recommend this cube to beginners. Yes the cube is expensive, but the main reason I am saying this is because of how difficult it is to set up well. Even though the Gan tensioning system isn’t too difficult, finding the right combination of settings to work with lubricants was something I found very difficult. Cubes like the RS3M work with virtually any lube, and will likely perform pretty well regardless of what lubes you have. The Duo however seemed to have a lot of trouble working with most lubricants. It was incredibly easy to over lube, and even versatile lubes like Martian, Gan lube, and Silk all seemed to be pretty mediocre with the factory tensions. The only single lube that I found worked well was Mystic, but even that had to be mixed with a little DNM to work well. This isn’t a big deal for cubers who have a variety of lubes and are experienced with trying out different set-ups, but for a new cuber, or someone who doesn’t have a lot of lubes to use this could be a big problem. Plus, the cost of the cube makes buying lube for it even more expensive. For this reason I would not recommend it for cubers that don’t have experience setting up puzzles or don’t have a lot of lubes.
it's pretty much the 11m pro, it's a really good cube. i have the soft and UV coated, and have the duo, they feel similar but different textures. I mean it's Gan, it's always high quality.
It’s been a year since I cubed daily, and wanted to get back into it. I bought this cube and was amazed. I somehow was hitting sub 15 (I averaged 17 seconds when I was cubing) solves despite not cubing after a year. I was always confused by cube feeling terms Youtubers would use like crispy, crunchy, smooth, etc. But after getting this cube I now know what they mean by crispy, crunchy, smooth, and this cube is exactly that. Amazing out of the box, tension and elasticity settings are easy to understand after watching vids. I set the cube up with DNM37 and Gravitas and can now happily call it my main. I am excited to continue cubing.
It was a major upgrade compared to my other cubes, but I was kind of disapointed with the corner cutting. It can't cut 45 but, otherwise it's a great cube. It turns very smooth and great magnet strenght. It feels very compact in my hands. The protection case is the best I have seen for a cube. I would recomend it.
Unfortunately, mine had a defect - some of the corner magnets had either not been glued in or dislodged from their slots. In fact, one managed to fall into the center hole leading to the corner-center magnet, making it impossible to remove. I don't think this is a common issue, but I am including this information as a warning for other buyers. Now onto the actual review:
Although the performance of the puzzle was fine, I personally did not care for the feeling very much. The puzzle feels light and somewhat papery once set up. Unfortunately, I didn't like the feeling (if I get a replacement, I will try a different lube setup) and the magnets were a bit too snappy. The start/end of a turn is very abrupt and that threw me off a lot while solving. This was not helped by the fact that I use the Roux method; the M slices were pretty tough to do properly during LSE.
I give this puzzle three stars because of the defect. If not for that, I would probably rate the puzzle four stars because I think that this was simply a puzzle that does not match my turning and feel preferences. I suspect that other cubers would like it and the performance is perfectly fine.
