Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

It’s a little stiff but it’s smooth and good for beginners
I got it on sale for $9.99. It was well worth it, it's not built for speed or anything but its very smooth and corner cutting is pretty good also. Great gift for a cuber who doesn't have a 7x7
I got this cube Because 7x7 is my favorite event and this cube cost me less than 9 dollars on sale. I first noticed that there is a whole lot frosting on the outside of the pieces. It doesn't make a lot of sense and I don't even know if I would call it frosting or how to explain it. It seemed to have good corner cutting when I tested it, but in the solve there were a lot of lockups. My first timed solve was 6:16. That is slightly over a minute higher than what I average with Hays 7. I expected it to be slower and understand why that is. I just said it show how much slower it is. I didn't have any problem with peices popping when solving, and it was hard for me to get a pop when I was trying to. I did get a pop and didn't feel comfortable putting it in without loosening the puzzle. The puzzle blew up after that but that was my fault I loosened it too much as In, taking the screw all the way out. I thought the mechanism was like my Hays 7, but when comparing it to the Hays and the G7. It was just a modern mechanism and not a copy. The good thing about this cube is that It doesn't pop with factory tensions. If you are new to 7x7 this would be okay, but you would need to get a better one eventually. I would recommend the G7 but it costs a little bit more. If you are looking for the cheapest I would suggest getting this. Sorry I didn't mess with the tensions. That might make it better or make it pop more. Also breaking it in would make it better. I think this cube is too locky.
