The Pro Shop MGC 7x7 is one of our premium versions of the factory magnetized 7x7 by YJ. This cube is set up with Weight 4, Lubicle Speedy, and DNM-37. This mixture of lubricants creates smooth, fast, and controllable turning making for a great solving experience!

Original puzzle made by YJ. It features a Pro Shop logo on the white side.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Great cube, bad setup

The mgc 7x7 is great. It turns fast, and corner cuts nicely. However, the pro shop setup service was disappointing. The tensions were so loose that the cube popped on every turn, and it was practically swimming in lube. I love dnm-37 as much as anybody, but I prefer my cubes to not be drowned in it.

Sooo Good

So I am lukewarm to the MGC 6 and I had a hard time setting it up for making it an optimal cube for me. But with this 7x7, it solved all the problems I had with the 6x6. The base cube itself is phenomenal. Fast and lightweight and doesn’t pop nearly as badly as the 6x6. The Pro Shop service makes it so much better that gives you a crisp and fast cube. For 6x6 and 7x7 I like traditional setups, so this service is really amazing. If you want a new 7x7, I highly recommend saving a bit more for the pro shop MGC 7x7. I have broken my PB’s and now am averaging sub 4 minutes.

Bad cube

Terrible cube, lube was nasty. Make the cube so bad, if it has 0 stars I would rate 0. Not recommended this cube.
