MoYu AoSu V7 4x4 (Double-Track + UV)

In my opinion, this is probably the best 4x4 on the market. It is very light, which I appreciate for longer sessions. The turning on inner and outer layers is very smooth, and required minimal setup before it started performing to my liking. Definitely recommend this.

I was able to use this cube like it was a three by three really well, by just turning the outer layers. It felt very fast, and extremely stable. However, the middle layers for me seemed to have a harsh click that made it feel almost a bit sluggish to turn. But over time, the click seemed to lighten up, and now I have a overall good four by four. The UV coating is nice and shiny, and overall, besides the strong magnets in the center, it turns very fast. If anything, those magnets give it more stability. But if you do not like strong magnets, you may not like this cube.

Came pretty dry out of the box but still better than both the vin and mgc. Much smaller than both cubes. Once setup, instantly dropped my global from 34 to 32.

Usually when I write reviews I tend to point out the negatives of the cube from a competitive standpoint. This cube has very few downsides that are too miniscule for me to even figure out. Definitely the best 4x4 on the market as of Feb. 5 2025 until we see the GAN.

I wanted to say this cube was great. The outer layers are incredible, just as good as a flagship 3x3 and can do 45 degree corner cuts. It almost never pops either.

The inside layers are not good though, the magnets are very strong, stronger than the WRM v9. It makes the inner layers feel stuff and sluggish to turn. It's so strong thought my cube was defective but apparently this is normal. It's a shame, because outside of that the cube is amazing.

This is my first 4x4, after waiting a little time and a few reviews (and a great sale!) I got dual track/ball-core version. Out of the box the inner layers felt tight and sticky while the outer layers were light and fast. After setting tensions and overall tightening a little bit I gave it a bit of a “Yoo” lube set up and used weight 5 and Dignitas to smooth it out and used Mystic and DNM-37 on the inner layers to speed them up and over all this has balanced the cube out nicely! Crispy turns that are nice and soft. This cube is AMAZING! And has given me a new love of 4x4 cubing!

It's my first 4x4 and I love it! Like any Moyu cube, the magnets feel pretty strong, but I'm glad I got the double-track which helps immensely during the 3x3 stage.
