Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

This cube is now my favorite, even if I have a Gan 12, a MOYU WRMV10, and a Tornado V3, but I am a novice (I have only used cubes for 9 months). The material is the best I have touched on any cube (have more than a dozen). I can only imagine how great are the Gan 15 & Gan 12 on this anniversary edition
The only problem, but it's not a big one, is that the colors are a bit harder to identify under certain lights. But 80% of the lights are okay. (there are different kind of lights, such as lamps, the sun, etc). Regular GAN cubes are kind of easier to identify (color-wise) but you get used to it after a while.
It needs a good lube. I used Weight Five, Gravitas, Dignitas, and Mystic. I don't remember if I used a bit of DNM-37. Highly recommended!!!
I'm just a mom who loves cubing but doesn't actually compete so it does not matter to me that this cube isn't WCA legal. It is a REALLY COOL cube! Even though it is not the "top" version of the GAN anniversary cubes with all the bells and whistles, it still feels GREAT! It is fast and light and I've already had one of my best solves with it after just a few tries so I can safely say that I didn't have any issues with the transparent colors slowing me down. This is my first GAN cube and I couldn't be happier with my purchase!
