MoYu WeiLong Ferrocore V2 3x3

...this became my immediate favorite. It's a perfect cube. I prefer heavier cubes, but sometimes a cube comes along that forces me to ignore weight, this is one of them.

Small disclaimer: I've been cubing for 13 years, and while I stand by this being the best of those 13 years, I still have a 45 second average due to having Tourette's.

I’m relatively new to cubing and got this today. It’s only the 5th cube I have tried but...

After my setting up and bedding in, this is simply perfect! Stable and fast with a very high quality feel!!

I don’t know how to explain to you how good this cube is. I used the ferrocore v1 (based on the weilong v10) as my main before this cube, and I didn’t know how it could get better, I loved that cube. But this cube somehow is so good it makes the v1 feel flimsy and lame. It’s genuinely so so good. Solid, but not blocky, flexible but not uncontrollable. The magnet strength is great. The core magnets are great. I like using it at tension 3, compression 7. I find the higher compression gives this cube a satisfying bouncy feel.

I’d say don’t buy this cube if you have important things to do, cause you won’t be able to put it down.

Pretty much what any speed cuber would want from a cube! It does require some setup to get it good

Crazy fast out of the box and it is awesome. I really enjoyed the feel and loved everything about it. The only issues are it has spring noise and is turning blue.

Love it, although me & my youngest son ate not speed cuber, but we are enjoying the turn of it. It is improved our timing.
This is the best cube so far from our collections.

if you get the matte ole tbh the cube feels really bad out of the box, the magnets are really strong and the speed is just insane, but with gravitas on the tracks and peices it feels great, you can use whatever lube combo u want but for me i cant lube this cube without gravitas (it might be the best lube for this cube, also something i love about what they did with this cube is just like the ferrocore v1 (my main before this) is that with the settings they chose the middle settings to be the best so if you want more speed or control you can go down or up, it has a great light fast airy feel (not really like a gan) and the cube feels really diffrent from the v11 and ferrocore v1 idk how to explain, anyways yeah i dont think im gonna switch until they make a cube better than this

The Fe V1 was the best but this one.....it's absolutely fantastic....the new King of the King... UV or not is great

This cube is great, it turns amazingly and never gives me any turning issues.
I can only compare it to an old cube, the GTS3M, but I wanted to give a comparison in case anyone coming back to cubing like me was wondering.
Compared to the GTS3M, the Ferrocore feels a lot smoother. Although when doing manual 45 degree cuts (like they'll often do in video reviews) it feels like the GTS3M takes less effort to cut, in practice I a lot of catches with the GTS3M while I do not with the Ferrocore. Also, as someone with sweaty hands I find that matte version of the cube never feels slippery, unlike the GTS3M whose glossy coating causes it to slip when my hands get sweatier.

This is my first magnetic cube, and I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. I was initially planning to get the Weilong V11 for a comeback to cubing, but the Ferrocore V2 came out at the perfect time. After reading many reviews describing it as an improved version, I decided to give it a try, and I’m really glad I did.

Coming from an old DaYan Zhanchi 5 (stickered and white internals version, the one with the purple box back in the day), with no ball core, no magnets, and when torpedoes were considered advanced technology at the time, the magnetic feel of the Ferrocore V2 was a bit strange at first. However, after just a few solves, it quickly felt natural and very satisfying, and it really helps with control and overall stability.

This cube exceeded my expectations. It feels like a huge upgrade in every way — faster, smoother, and more controllable (obviously). At first, I thought it was expensive for what it offered, assuming the price was mostly due to its features. But when I held it, I immediately felt a very “premium” kind of feel (I have the matte version). As soon as you pick it up, you can tell it’s not a cheap cube.

Performance-wise, even at its most extreme settings, it never feels too loose (I haven’t had a single corner twist in a week of daily use) nor too tight and rigid — it still feels incredibly fast. It really feels like a perfect balance between speed and control.

Overall, this cube has made coming back to cubing incredibly enjoyable. I highly recommend it to anyone. If you’re coming from older non-magnetic cubes, be aware that the magnets are quite strong and may feel surprising at first — but you’ll get used to them very quickly.
