Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Not bad at all, could be better however

Only thing I dont like that the cube is not as stable as other cubes out there on the market. The turning is pretty decent and controlable. To be honest I would go for the newer cubes on the market, which offer better turning and a more affordable price.

MoYu AoShi

This cube is crunchy and pretty decent for beginners. Corner cutting isn't great and is slow. The stickers (At least for me) were placed poorly and don't seem to stay on very well. When turning (Even after tensioning several times) felt like it could pop or catch at any moment. I felt like I really had to be careful when turning because of the way the turning felt. Out of the box the cube is very sluggish, slow, and crunchy. After a lot of solves it gets a bit faster and less crunchy. For beginners this is a cube to begin with, but for experienced cubers, I would not recommend this cube.

Good cube

This cube completely popped, now I cant fix it, I would recommend to beginners though.

Moyu Aoshi 6x6

It was ok out of the box, but a little slow on all layers. Its good for a beginner learning to solve it. A little lube and loosening fixed most of the problems, however it still pops sometimes.

AoShi 6x6

The Moyu AoShi is a really good puzzle. Out of the box it was greasy but turned well.
I haven't done any set up on it and after ~25 solves it was amazing!
Corner cutting is about one piece forwards and 1/2 a piece reverse.
Only bad thing was there were four stickers on the red face that were cut poorly.

Pretty good

The MoYu Aoshi was really dry and bumpy out of the box. With some lube that can be fixed easily. The major flaw of the cube is impossible to find the right tension.

Review

A great cube though not really up to MoYu's usual standard. Being an even layer cube it is a bit harder to tension without affecting the stability but with lube and somewhat tight tensions it turns smoothly. I've managed to get half a piece corner cutting with the cube in an absolutely stable configuration though I'm sure you could loosen it a little more at the risk of some issues with mid layer turns if you aren't precise.

The main problem I have with the cube is the lack of stickerless options. MoYu have stickerless (bright) variants for pretty much every cube except the 6x6. This is definitely something I'd like to see as I am about to transition to stickerless cubes.

Had to make a repair

I had to free up one of the screws from the sleeve (?) as it was somehow stuck to it. This caused the tab used to keep the core in place to spin with the screw when I tensioned it.

I will echo the concerns of others here about having a hard time finding the right tension balance. It exploded on me when I was not expecting it and had to pick up half of the cube off of the floor.

It is not a particularly smooth cube but for a novice like me, who is not really interested in speed cubing, it works.

I would give it 4 stars but since I had to fix part of the core I will only give it 3.

Great cube, but be careful when tensioning

Very good large cube, especially for an even layered cube. Slight problem with layers adjacent to turning layer also turning. Lowered my rating a bit due to a problem with cube design when tensioning. If you loosen the tensions even just a little too much, a little plastic ring under the screw will rotate around. This piece is what controls which side of the cube the core moves with when doing an internal turn. If it is not precisely positioned, your cube will be unusable until it is re positioned and tightened to prevent turning again. I could not find anything online on how to fix this, which made it a very long process basically studying the mechanics of the cube and finding which pieces were messed up. Just do not loosen the cube too much and you will be okay though.

Better than my shengshou 6x6

If you are looking for a good 6x6, this is definitely the best option. Out of the box it is very fast, and also very greasy. after breaking it in with a few solves, it still felt like it just came out of the box and nothing was really needed to be done to the cube. This cube beats its competitor ShegShou by a lot. The shengshou 6x6 feels like its going to fall apart with every turn. This cube, however, is fast and stable. The only problem I found with it is the problem that occurs with most big layered cubes: bandaging. It doesn't bandage that often, but when it does it could throw of your time. Other than that this cube is probably the best 6x6 you can get.
