Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop".
This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces.
This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts
which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by
corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

I learned how to solve this thing, and it is soooo fun! Turning is good even without lube, and it is certainly worth your cash. Tough to learn, but so satisfying to complete a solve. Learn parity last. Buy this as a first square-1.
As a kid i had a lot of different toys growing up. I specifically had a square 1 cube where the front face was yellow with the square 1 logo on it, and a different color scheme. Ya know, the really really old version that was black and had stickers. So when i bought this brand, i chose the black with stickers for nostalgic purposes. I was surprised how awesome it is for the price i paid for. Even with no lube out of the box it turns great. It's a very fun challenge. Highly recommend.
got it yesterday (2/16/2021) and it was really scratchy on the slice layer and tight on the other layers but after adding some dnm-37 and breaking it in the only issues I have now are occasional lockups. Overall though a great beginner cube for those with a slower turning style
this is my first square-1 and I absolutely love it! I eventually got an x-man volt, but that locks up a lot and this is also my backup main. I ♥ it! I would definitely recommend this to beginner sq1 solvers, and to all the beginners, good luck learning the parity algorithm lol.
I got this puzzled with the cps service, and this performs 10x better than my previous QiYi square-1, if you willing to spend 5 extra dollars to the CPS service this is a LEGENDARY square-1
This cube was my first Square-1. When I got it, it was good and kinda scratchy, so I lubed it. The only problems i had was that the caps kept popping off and the color scheme came in wrong.
great. buy it. it's about 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times better than the xman volt square 1 its so good just a little bit of lubicle silk or dnm 37 will make it about 100000 times better than the number i just wrote. :)
OOTB it had a great feel, and I rarely get lock-ups on this puzzle. Solving this puzzle is fun, and fast even though it is a budget cube compared to other models.
sorry maybe for very slow square - 1 solvers because it just pops too much. Im slow and i average 1:30 and it pops for me too! sorry but terrible
No matter what I do, it is very stiff and pops pretty easily. I know it was good OOTB, but I messed around with it too much. Great for the price.
