YJ YuChuang 5x5 V2 M

When i opened the box i was expecting a cube that has pretty good turning but it was $14 so i didn't think it would be this good. It feels more like a $34 cube and turn's really fast and has strong magnets so i can do like 5 to 10 moves in 1 second. I never really solved 5x5 very much only if it got scrambled until i got this. My old 5x5 was a QiYi 5x5 with no magnets and didn't have very good turning and i almost never solved it even though I solved bigger cubes a lot more like 6x6 7x7 9x9 11x11 and 13x13 and also solve smaller cubes like 3x3 and 4x4 but not 5x5 very much. When i got this thing i did 105 solve the same day i got it and my average went from 3:15 to 1:45 and i keep getting pb like 2:45 2:34 2:28 2:20 2:05 1:55 1:36 1:27 and 1:19 and now i solve the 5x5 more then the 4x4 or the 3x3 because it does not take long and this is such a good cube and i have not had a pop when i was solving it. but if it does pop you have to kinda loosen it to get the pieces back in but that only happened once and all cube are eventually gonna pop. But this is the best 5x5 for a very good price and it changed how much i practice with 5x5 and i love it!.

I have the 3x3, 4x4 and 7x7 magnetic YJ cubes in this same series, and all 3 of those are the best OOTB cubes I've ever had. So I was very disappointed with this cube. OOTB it was very slippery (overlubed), gummy and badly tensioned (much too tight). I really don't think I should have to disassemble and clean a new cube to get decent behavior (I don't care about WR performance, just an enjoyable cubing experience). The magnets are much too light, it's almost hard to tell they are even there. The YJ 3x3, 4x4 and 7x7 are much better in every way.

This 5x5 was part of my first purchase from TheCubicle.com Shipping was fast and the cubes arrived in good shape. This 5x5 is the absolute smoothest moving cube I've got. My son can get it to flip 3 sides around on a finger flip. I can get it to flip 2 very clean sides. For comparison, I'm lucky if I can get it past 1 side on a finger flip on my other cubes. This is probably my favorite cube at this point. I wish the 6x6 I ordered was this smooth.

OOTB this cube is super slow. The problem is that when I loosen it, the puzzle locks up a lot. Overall a very disappointing 5x5

This is the best budget 5x5 on the market in my opinion.
The turning is scratchy but also smooth. The magnets have enough of a bump to be felt but they aren't too strong.
The tensions OOTB aren't too bad actually.
Overall the cube is very great for the price point I really recommend it!

I think this puzzle is nice. Also not real expensive. I haven't seen a cube puzzle in nearly 30 years. But I decided I wanted some. This was what I went with for the first one of the lot. It is smaller than I expected. But seems worth the money. I'm contented. I don't have much to compare it to but it is likeable.

OOTB it was too tight. No problem, I adjusted the tension giving each screw 3/4 of a turn to loosen it up. Added some DNM-37 and voila (wah-lah), I had a pretty decent 5x5 for only $13.

I am not an experienced 5x5 solver, and this is my first magnetic 5x5. It came a little greasy out of the box for me, but other than that it turns pretty smooth and doesn't really lock up. I am a slow turner though lol :)

I would reccomend this cube. Magnets are nice!
