I was expecting this puzzle to be stiff, and while it is a little bit, it has a smooth and nice feel to it! The Clover Octahedron also does not have any parities such as one on the Sunflower Cube where the pieces are rotated 180°. The jumbling of this puzzle is also great, and it has a scary look to it once fully scrambled, but I found it to be a rather intuitive solve. Definitely recommend!

This is an edge turning puzzle like the VeryPuzzle Clover Cube and LanLan Sunflower. It isn’t a huge puzzle like the VeryPuzzles can get, this one is 72mm long so it’s pretty easy to handle. You get some shape shifting, some bandaging, it’s a challenging puzzle and is made really well. Very happy with it

I don't typically leave reviews but I feel like I need to on this puzzle as I truly think more people should know about it. Despite being a LanLan puzzle, the construction of the puzzle is well above what is typically expected from LanLan. The puzzle feels sturdy and is well designed. As long as each layer is well aligned, you should have no issues in terms of moving the puzzle. The stickers are good quality, and despite many solves I have not had them chip, peel, or slide in the slightest.

The scrambled puzzle looks quite cool and a bit intimidating because of the shapeshifting and jumbling, but the solve itself is quite intuitive to figure out and is quite satisfying. The solves are also a good length and it doesn't feel particularly tedious to solve.

Though the pricetag may seem a bit steep, I do honestly think it's worth the price. This is a beautiful, fun, and interesting puzzle to add to your collection.

The only puzzle I know that is harder to scramble than solve. If you want difficult, get the cube version, called the sunflower cube. It is much more difficult. Why? Two reasons: The vortex of a cube has 3 faces (an odd number). Whenever a piece rounds a corner, it is inverted. The cube also has a colorless piece hidden under each corner that blocks many moves. This is an octahedron. The corners have 4 faces (an even number). The pieces are not inverted when they round a corner and there is no hidden piece under the corner to create extra bandaging. This makes this puzzle easy to solve, but it is still a great piece of geometry and design.

This was a great purchase! Glad I got it. Not terribly difficult but looks great next to lan lan ETO. Love the stickered black look! Very solid, doesn't feel cheap at all. I recommend this 1!!
