Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Unique puzzle with some small issues

The stickers on this cube are nice and mostly well-placed. Despite some of them being very tiny, I haven't yet found any that overhang an edge or that are trying to peel off. The mechanism is typical of inexpensive mirror cube type shape mods, in that it's fairly sandy and not very fast, but nobody's going to be speed solving this thing anyway.

The big issue is that the shape presents some challenges that I guess MFJS just wasn't up to solving. The "arms" of the X shape that you can see in the example pic are also the center pieces in the middle layer. Notice how one "arm" is longer than the others? That piece in the middle slice is so long, any lateral force -- like a normal person would exert while turning the middle layer -- will pop that center cap right off of the piece. I popped it off accidentally no fewer than three times while putting the cube into a checkerboard pattern, and I imagine that's much more frustrating if it happens during a solve, especially when you're not sure which orientation it was supposed to be in. I can't see actually trying to solve this cube without gluing at least that center cap (and probably others) down.

I paid three bucks for this cube on sale, and that's about what it's worth. I wouldn't advise paying more than that.

Great Cube -- Interesting solve

I ordered this from a different site, but thought I would post my thoughts here because why not.

Out of the box I first noticed that the turning was very sandy, and the cube was very tight. The carbon fiber stickers have an interesting zigzag pattern that shines very well in the light.

After a few solves and loosening the screws a small amount, it became very smooth and had decent corner cutting. The solve was very interesting. If you look at the corners, instead of having 8 unique corners, it has 4 sets of corners with 2 identical corners in eat set. This adds an interesting twist to the solve, as it has multiple solved states. However, the one true solved state has all the carbon fiber lines to be parallel, like in a mirror cube. Buy this cube.
