Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop".
This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces.
This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts
which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by
corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

This is a shallower cut version of the Dayan Gem III, resulting in visible centers on the square faces. I think this ZePuzzles Super Gem III turns more smoothly than the Dayan Gem III, yet I prefer the Dayan puzzle. This Super Gem III is larger and to me it just feels too bulky.
"Tetradeca" means fourteen in Greek. So this puzzle has fourteen sides, which is an unusual number. The sides also come in two different shapes, so this is really a unique puzzle. It is big! It stands about twice as high as two stacked 3x3s.
My puzzle is well made. Everything looks tidy, and all layers turn smoothly. This keeps the scrambling and solving a fun thing to do. I don't see it as a speedcube, as it has no magnets and doesn't corner cut. But it's not hard to align layers at the end of a turn.
There's no pamphlet with a solution, so you have to figure it out yourself. It has its own challenges, but nothing too daunting I think. The higher the number of puzzles you have solved, the easier this one will be.
I'm glad I ordered this thing and feel it's well worth my money. Solving a puzzle on a quiet evening is something I really enjoy, and I like that it's shaped differently than any other puzzle I have. So a valuable addition to the collection.
