Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Great budget cube!

The YLM Square-1 was surprisingly smooth to turn and is quite enjoyable to solve considering the price. The cube has a great feeling out of the box and decent magnets (but on the weaker side). The corner-cutting is lacking, making the cube catch occasionally. Additionally, mine came heavily scratched and had a damaged sticker, but I was told that this is due to a lack of quality control for a budget cube. Other than these two issues, I'd highly recommend this cube for those looking to get into square-1 on a budget. However, if you have more money to spend, I'd recommend something better like the MGC Square-1 instead.

Amazing Square-1

I have learned how to solve and it is about the same difficulty as a normal 3x3 (watch the link for a very good tutorial) it and it is very smooth, turns well, I have had zero lock-ups and still with no lube it turns really well. very satisfied with my purchase. Can't wait to get more amazing cubes/not quite cube from the cubicle!

and here is my paper and the video I used to solve it:

Overrated

OOTB the cube felt dry slightly hollow and slightly sandy and the magnets on the slice were very unnoticeable and the magnets on the layers were slightly noticeable and it also couldn’t cornercut for its life, and that’s the main problem with this cube it can’t cornercut jack shit. After lubing and tensioning it the feel became quite smooth and slightly hollow still but it still couldn’t cornercut. I then found out about the b-mod which supposedly improved cornercuting so I did the mod and the cube had a little bit of cornercutting on the edges but still none on the corners as a result my times are about 3-5 seconds slower on this cube compared to my volt m simply because I lock up a ton because of the lack of cornercutting and the volt m is the cube I will stick with for now. For $10 this cube is hard to beat considering other budget sqauns in the past have been really terrible and this one comes magnetic but people had been saying that this was the best on the market so that’s what I expected from it and it completely failed to do that so if you have the cash I definitely still recommend a custom volt m or if you have the skill and patience like me make your own volt m

Looks used

It’s certainly a nice starter cube for square 1 but the box came torn and the yellow face of the cube was scuffed and the entire thing had several finger prints on it! As I don’t intend to display the cube with my others, it’s okay because it’s not too obviously used but for a new cube, it’s the worst condition cube in my 40+ cube collection so far

No complaints

I remember having a Square-1 puzzle (probably the one from Calvin’s/ Meffert’s?) around growing up, and at the time, I could never figure the dog gone thing out! So as I got back into cubing/ puzzles recently, I figured that I ought to relive and conquer my childhood frustration with this puzzle. This particular one from Yuxin turns very well right OOTB, I don’t feel any need to try to lube or adjust it. I’m still not proficient at solving it, but if I got more serious about it I might invest in a magnetic version. Otherwise though, this one (the “Little Magic”) works just fine and is a great Square-1 for the price and for my level (novice)! Def recommend!

good but needs so much moding

OOTB it is ok but there are some problems the slice magnets are too weak so I had to add extra and the U and D are kinda weak so I added more magnets. But the corner cutting is mediocre so I sanded for hours to make the edges round. I also moded the core because I can. Then I lubed it with silk, dnm, and weight five. and it is awsome so guuuuuuuuuuud turns like butter so smooth.

Excellent Square-1 for it’s price!

The Yuxin Little Magic Square 1 is amazing! It is magnetic and the magnets are perfect for my opinion. It is very smooth and can turn really well and it never pops. And also if I drop it on the floor, it would not break!! I really recommend this puzzle to everyone! Here’s a picture of the cube:
