Product Description

The Angstrom GAN 356 X V2 is our custom make of GAN's most famous cube to date. The Angstrom GAN 356 X V2 is lubed with Lubicle Black on the core and a combination of Angstrom Gravitas, Angstrom Dignitas, and DNM-37 on the pieces. This creates an incredibly quick and clean feel, free from the drag ordinary silicone lubricants can produce.

Comes with:

  • Angstrom GAN356 X V2
  • Cubicle Cube Stand (assorted color)
  • Angstrom Research Collectible Card

Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Advice to everyone

Some people are saying that the GAN X comes very slow and sluggish. You guys have to just break it in. it comes out of the box very slow because the lube has been sitting in the cube for a few days, not being turned. When it was traveling from state to state, if you don't live in New York, the temperature vary, possibly affecting the lube. So, if your cube is too slow, give it a good 75-100 solves. Then you can decide whether or not it's for you. Just a little advice to those who didn't know, but I assume most of you do.

very good but...

This cube is my main but it seems like it is still too slow even after breaking in I have tried adjusting the spring compression to 0.8 where I have it now. Although I do like a lot of speed i noticed that if you add a generous amount of dnm it speeds up but it still is a little slow and locky i think 70 dollars is a little much seeing the problems i have with it but it is still a very good cube and if you like slower, more controllable cubes then go for this but if that is not you then get the regular gan X which I should have done thanks for reading this.

Got a PB 3 times after 2 weeks of owning!!

Best cube i have every owned. At first i thought the strongest magnets could be stronger, but after switching to weaker magnets i ended up liking those better. It’s also worth noting that depending on what nuts you use will effect what magnets you will need.

Definitely worth the money in my opinion

Nothing compared to ScS

It was ok, the lube was everywhere and was not impressed. My main is a 30 dollar cube and this is not even close to replacing it

Best cube in the universe!

So I got this cube a few days ago and I was instantly hooked to it! I loved the feel after working it in and I broke all my records on this! I think that it is defiantly worth the price. The yellow GES nuts and the tension that they are put to is perfect. Buy this cube!

Although it is expensive , it is worth it

I got this cube from my father , and I used it for almost all of my competition. I really like the original Gan 356 X (In Black) , and the upgraded Angstrom version is an insanely good cube and I really like it . So I strongly recommend this cube when you want to buy an expensive good cube from the cubicle.:)

Tooooo muuuuuuchhh

Very good except that I think that they out waaaayyy too much Lubicle black in the core of the yellow GES nuts. It seeps onto the outside and I can’t even see what colour it is. I know it’s a small problem but it’s veeerry messy! Please fix this!!!

Worst cube ever

Not only does it turn so poorly but it also popped within a minute of using the cube. Customer service is pretty much non existent. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!

Amazing cube, but looks like a second hand

Alright so, I‘ve stopped cubing in 2016 so I didn‘t really get to experience the rise of magnets in puzzles, and my cubes are out of date. I couldn‘t wait to get this cube when I ordered, and for good reason: it‘s amazing! With the angstrom treatment and the magnets, this cube pretty much represents what I was thinking of when I invisioned a perfect 3x3; the magnets really help close that gap between stability and flexibility/corner cutting!
That being said, I do have an issue: unfortunately, for some reason there are some quite big scratches on some pieces, as if someone took a screwdriver or a knife and scratched the cube. Not sure if this is a problem coming from the cubicle or gan itself, but it is a little disapointing considering the price, and the fact that it‘s a premium product.
Obviously it doesn‘t influence the turning of the cube, and it‘s not always visible, and not at all while solving. Still, it looks like I received a second hand puzzle, and for the price I would have expected a brand new product.
I‘m not sure if I should contact the cubicle about this.
