Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Don't get this cube, you won't be able to get your hands off it

This cube is the real deal. Like the other WRM cubes, this cube is smaller than other 6x6s. The first thing that stands out is its frosted finishing. I personally dislike it because it lessens the grip while solving. but on the other hand, the frosted plastic makes the cube feel more premium. I also love the primary internals for the centers. Out of the box the cube was already better than the MGC. It was very fast and stable, and has never popped, I got this cube less than a week ago, 100+ solves and my times decreased from 2:30 to 2:10. I have to say, it feels very sandy and has some weird rubbery sound when turning the outer layers but using weight 5 and DNM 37 and mystic made this cube amazing. I also used Anyu Zhang's AoShi during Indonesian championships; this was before I got the cube for myself, I got a 2:13 average and note that the day before this I was averaging over 2:25. In conclusion get this cube if you're serious into 6x6, or even just starting with 6x6, you won't regret it.

Best 6x6 on the market by far

Hey there! So, full disclosure, I'm not exactly a wordsmith, but I'm excited to share my thoughts on this product with you through a pros and cons list!
Let's start with the positives:
• This product offers an ideal combination of speed and control. It's fast, yet still provides a good level of control. Of course, the speed may vary depending on your setup.
• The corner cutting ability of this puzzle is excellent. It can smoothly cut around 2 pieces, although this depends on the tensions that you use.
• I hardly experience any popping issues with this cube, even though my turning style is a bit rough and imprecise. In my 20-30 solves, I have had maybe 2 or 3 pops, and most of those were when I first got this cube and had not gotten used to the turning.
• When compared to its competitors, this cube stands out as a superior option. The MGC suffers from excessive popping, while the Shadow V2 has subpar out-of-the-box performance and requires extensive setup to reach a satisfactory level.
• Size-wise, this cube is pretty compact at 63mm. Additionally, it is very lightweight, weighing only 149 grams. For reference, the MGC 6x6 measures 65mm and weighs 175 grams.

Now, let's move on to the negatives (though most of them are minor nitpicks):
• One drawback worth noting is the somewhat higher price of this puzzle, coming in at $44. The price is roughly on par with the Shadow V2 and $19 more expensive than the MGC.
• Probably the most significant drawback is the fact that this cube has frosted plastic. It does not provide very good grip when compared to UV or glossy plastic. It's a puzzling design choice by MoYu. (Pun absolutely intended)
• The magnets on this puzzle are relatively weak. For me, it was not as bad as I expected, but if you know that you like stronger magnets, then it might help to get a few RS3M+ magnet kits. Tip: You will need 4 magnet kits to add extra magnets to just the 2 inner layers, and one additional kit to doublestack the outer layer magnets. If you doublestack both of the magnets on the second layer, then you won't need to doublestack the magnets on the outer layer.

I'm no 6x6 expert but this thing is pretty good

Hello. I'm a noob who has only had one other 6x6 in my life (what I think is this one's predecessor, the Aoshi GTS M, which is discontinued on TheCubicle) and this one far surpasses it. On the GTS M, the magnets are more even in strength between the layers, which means that sometimes when I turn the outer layer, the second innermost layer comes with it. On this one, I have no such problems. The outer layers are quick and smooth, and the inner layers have nice strong magnets that help keep them in place. Out of the box, it has that dry, sandy feeling that can easily be counteracted with lube. It's relatively smooth even without lubricant, though. I'm a big fan of MoYu cubes, especially their big cubes like the 4x4. The manufacturers have outdone themselves again!

A couple warnings:
If you loosen the cube too much (which I wouldn't recommend doing for any big cube because it can pop) the screws sticking out a little bit from the centers causes them to bump against the pieces when you're turning, causing an unholy scraping/locking sensation. Tighten the screws until they sink in at least a little bit to prevent this. Since it's a fast cube anyway, you don't need it too loose.
It may be a speedcube, designed for speed, but don't turn it too fast and abuse the corner cutting, because again, it will pop. This applies to any big cube, speedy or not.

Probably the best 6x6 ever

I got this cube for Christmas along with the Aochuang and Aofu WRM because my cubes were old; my old 5x5 popped at least 3 times each solve, my old 7x7 was way too big and my old 6x6 was broken ; Aoshi (this cube) was the best out of all. 6x6 hardware was notoriously bad, even though some cubes like Shadow or MGC were usable, they sometimes pop and catch . Aoshi WRM don't. It corner cuts better than some 5x5 (1.5 piece) ,even better than my new Aochuang WRM.

Unpopular Opinion: The only flaw of this 6x6 speedcube is the inner layers' magnets ; they were too strong.

Overall; after lubing it with Angstrom Dignitas and other lubes , this cube is probably the best 6x6 out there, I recommend it to people who have enough money to spend.
Otherwise, you can get the MGC if your budget is under $45 but over $25 or the YJ Yushi M which is probably the cheapest 6x6 that's decent.

Not good

Out of the box the cube had the tension of exploding and was very floppy. When I tried other people’s 6x6 at a competition the cube was outstanding and very stable. I thought I was getting a good 6x6 but ended up very disappointed.

Hi Jordan,

It looks like your cube popped internally. If you email us with your order number and the same picture that you posted here, we'll try to help.

Would Recomend

It's crispy out of the box. Maybe a little tight but you can fix that. My only problem with it is that the magnets were a little loose. Over all 9/10, Highly recommend.

best 6x6

in my opinion, it is way better than the mgc 6xc6 and the smaller size is great. got both my pb's within a couple days of use (2:35 single and 2:48 mo3)

Best 6x6

This is the first 6x6 I haven't had major problems with. It's really fast, and I even had to slow it down with traxxas. I have it on somewhat tight tensions and it still corner cuts well for a 6x6, and rarely pops. The only reasons why I don't give it 5 stars are because the inner center pieces don't line up completely flat with the rest of the face and it annoys me, and the magnets aren't super effective due to their small diameter and weak strength. But i'd still recommend this over the MGC to anyone who wants to get good at 6x6, because there probably won't be a better one for a long time.

Best 6x6 on the market without a doubt, but still has problems

New moyu finally made a good cube. This is lightyears ahead of the mgc. The performance and size are amazing, and I just love turning this thing. However, its not perfect. There are 2 things I am not a fan of, the frosted plastic, and the super weak second layer magnets. These can be fixed by just doing the polishing method for frosted cubes, and the plastic feels better, and for the second layer magnets, just get the rs3m 2020 magnet kit and double stack the second layer. All the other layers magnet strengths are perfect. This cube has finally made me enjoy 6x6 more.
