Product Description

The GAN 356 Air S is a 3x3 speed cube, the non-magnetized version of the Air SM with a design that prioritizes soft feel and light weight, and a unique honeycomb design on the pieces. The magnet slots that are present in the Air SM have been removed in the Air S in order to make the puzzle as light as possible, and the standard yellow GES V3 nuts are pre-installed.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Not the best

Unless you’re planning to magnetize this cube yourself.... not the best choice. Only comes with the method sheet and a tensioning tool. The tensions are loose, and it’s not that stable. If you turn very aggressively or strong, I wouldn’t recommend it because it’s very light and it catches a lot if your turns are very strong. If you turn lightly, you might want to buy this cube and magnetize it yourself, or you could buy the SM. Without magnets, it’s basically the same thing but not as stable. For some reason, corner cutting isn’t good and I have to loosen it a lot but then the cube is super unstable. Also, if you turn too fast, you might accidentally turn a side you don’t want to turn, and it could mess up your solve. I was about to get a PB, but then I messed up PLL because I accidentally turned another layer and ended up 7 seconds after what I was going to get. What I’m trying to say here is, I feel like Gan got lazy and just released it, even though it had problems. So, to wrap this whole thing up, if you’re going to get the Gan 356 Air S, MAGNETIZE IT.

A little above average

For the price the cube is pretty good but corner cutting not so great.The turning is pretty fast and for some people the tensioning is just right but for me and maybe other diners the default settings are not that good but customization did help and the cube is good! Over all I give it a 4 star

Disappointed

This cube is to loud and fast.It overshoots to much. I recommend something different like Gan 356X or the mf3rs 2m or Moyu weilong gts 2m

worst gan cube

as my first professional speed-cube it really bad. the corner cutting was trash and i got some major lockups. As a GAN if found it disappointing also during to the springs making sounds while turning. in my opinion dont get it

i got the GAN 356 air and not the S even tho it says that the normal 365 air is out of stock

It feels like exactly you would expect a non magnetic SM to feel like. It is okay without the magnets & come with looser tensions. If you want an SM I suggest getting this & magnetizing it yourself.
