MoYu WeiLong WRM V10 3x3

I got this cube as a ‘free gift’ from TheCubicle, and while I’m not maining it, I really can’t find anything wrong with this cube so far. Corner cutting is fantastic, and it’s ridiculously fast OOTB. I tried a few solves on it, both regular 3x3 and OH, and I did really like it, though I currently won’t switch to it from my current mains (Gan 12 Maglev and Huameng YS3M Ball-core Maglev), it is an incredible deal for only $15 USD. I would say it feels kind of like the RS3 V5 without any of the friction, catches, or lockups. Overall, it’s a great cube and I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a good speed cube, but doesn’t want to spend $80 on a Gan. FYI I’m currently averaging 10 flat with a PB of 5.54.

I picked up this and the 20 magnet ball core version, and honestly to me the difference is pretty small. I’m definitely more on the casual side, still takes me like a minute to solve a cube but I’ve learned cfop and just enjoy it, not trying to go crazy fast. With some oil and adjusting, the ball core is nicer but not twice as nice. I’d definitely recommend the standard version unless you just have to have the best you can possibly get.

It feels more premium than other cubes of this price and under, but is it worth it? I think it isn't necessary for its price. Generally the cube has issues. It can catch under inaccuracies which are common in solves. These inaccuracies are not even turning inaccuracies, but moreover the cube flexing and then catching rigidly, ruining fluidity in solves. Also, the settings are not good. Observing it without Maglev, it has completely unreasonable tensions. The cube, when on some very loose setups, cannot even properly reverse cut in some positions. The cube feels somewhat stable on loose setups like 2 for tension, 2 for compression, but still locks up and catches. Even though the cube is smooth, it fails to give lighter turning and is still mid-tight with the second lowest compression and tension. I said the cube is tight, but it still corner twists a lot with certain turning styles on "low" settings. Going back to out of the box experience, the cube felt sandy and the layers spun uncontrollable, feeling flimsy. Beginners probably won't be happy with the cube out of the box, continuing for a while, and may continue to not enjoy the cube for some time. The better option is to buy at least some lube(a couple to experiment with, or at least one or two you are certain to rely on). After between 6 and 7 months, the cube proved how unreliable it really is. The plastic core which held the springs and centers(and the whole cube in technicality) snapped when I was practicing algorithms. One center fell apart and the cube exploded very violently. I wasn't able to fix the cube because of how the part of the center holding the dual adjustment system snapped off. I can conclude that the plastic wasn't long lasting and wore away. Although I got a decent smooth feeling from the cube, it didn't last long which disappointed me. You would probably be happier simply buying two/three premium or standard lubes(Moyu lube or Gan lube, if you have to) along with the Rs3m 2020, 2021, Or Super Rs3m standard. If you really are into getting a Weilong, go for the standard Wrm Weilong v9, seeing that it is more fluid, less tight, having better corner cutting, and reinforced with a metal core for all versions, making it have longer-lasting performance. It also is satisfying to turn and nice. It may be 4 dollars more, but just not having to buy replacement plastic cores within what is probably a year or less is enough to compensate for that. Otherwise, go for the Weilong v11 Magnetic version, and purchase a setup as simple as Moyu Lube and Dnm-37, and you will get a more tactile, fluid, light and soft experience still having high stability. Uv coating for five dollars is nice if you really want it, but then the cube is worth the Rs3m V5 Ball Core UV, so consider that too. But the matte finish on the New v11, like the v10, is very good and will develop to become nice and responsive. I'll tell you that that cube also has some issues with it falling apart, so be warned. Overall, thanks for reading and home you learned something, but get an Rs3m or other standard weilong, and turning styles will be received better.

I’ve used for about 1 week and for $15 there’s not much wrong with it. The cube feels like a better RS3 V5, but it is slightly lighter and for $15 is a great deal. Only problem is it is a bit slow and the only usable spring setting is 1.

An excellent cube. For an entry level cube, it performs better than others more than twice its price. Corner cutting is not as deep as some, but it has a hard 'lock' at the edge of its corner cutting zone - meaning it doesn't flex into disassembly territory if you try to cut too far. The biggest improvement over the V9 is the redesigned corner pieces, they are now impossible to twist during a solve.

It probably too late to write this review but i bought this cube 2024 near Christmas and i have been maining it eversince, now the cube has popped and putting the pieces back doesnt help as everytime i turn it is just explodes. Pls say that theres a warranty or so because i have a comp this week😭
