As the community know, there is a Meilong 12x12 being mass produced. As we also know, when you make a 12x12, you have the mechanism for a 13x13. I believe that Yuxin is trying to take over the big cube market again, as there are now, smaller and better big cubes being made by the sub brand of moyu, Meilong and the 17x17 has been dethroned due to the new Sengso 19x19. It's going to be hard to top this thing, and the 12x12 which I have not bought yet. But I have bought this, and it is a very good cube. Turning is a bit rough out of the box, but after 1 solve it broke in just fine and feels like the 17x17 by Yuxin, I'd like to see them keep going, and maybe even make a 16x16, cubic 15x15, 17x17 and 19x19, and maybe even make a 21x21...

After some break-in, this cube is very nice and smooth. The frosted plastic is more like textured plastic that feels really nice to hold, without being too slippery. The rounded edges and corners are perfect for the size, and a much better design than a pillowed cube. Since it's fully cubic, you can use table abuse to align the layers. Be careful not to corner cut too far, as some pieces can get stuck and not move with the layers you are turning. The colors and contrast between them are good. The weight and size of this cube is great, and is very easy to handle with medium-large hands. Lots of fun making pixel art and patterns on this cube!

The photo is this 13x13 (98mm) next to the YuXin HuangLong M 3x3 (55.5mm). You can see that three inner layers of the 13x13 are about the same size as one layer on the 3x3.

The turns are a bit stiff out of the box, but its nothing i wouldn't expect from a puzzle with this large a part count and complexity. some turns will take a bit of force, as so many layers need to be aligned, but pieces rarely jam up, stopping a turn.

I decided to get this because it was finally a cubic 13x13. It turns well for the most part, but ootb the layers take quite a bit of effort to turn, especially the inner layers. I was able to make it better with some setup, but it's still a bit stiff. Great addition to my collection though, being the first cubic 13x13 and all.

The cube feels great and its shape makes every solve more fun.

It was a little tight out of the box. I really like the size compared to my 11x11. I have the Yuxin 11x11 and this 13x13 is a lot smaller compared to it. After 2-3 solves it started to open up and moves very nicely. Only a couple of pops, but was able to fix them with ease. I’m very happy with this cube and would buy again.

I never had a single pop with this, it turns very well. I really like this puzzle.

I like this cube alot! It is the top cubic 13x13s authough it is tight. It is a bit heavy alot hevier than the MF12. Pretty nice, would reccomend.
Info: Size: 98mm (16.5mm corner; 5.9mm center) Weight: 1.5lbs (681G) Turning quality: 9/10 (around the turning quality of the old Shengshou 10x10) Stickers/Colors: 10/10 (I like darker shades, I dont really like the Meilong shades as they are too bright) Quality: 10/10 hasnt popped a single time in speedcubing. Overall 9.6/10 the turning could be a bit less harsh but overall fantastic, better than shengshou 13x13 would reccomend.

As stated in my Yuxin 12x12 review, the 13x13 is also super stiff Ootb. The layers almost need to be perfectly aligned to turn. The shape is great, the rounded edges may be the best thing I've ever felt on an NxN. I definitely recommend this over the MoYu 13x13 for the size difference and weight. The Moyu has better turning, but I'm willing to sacrifice some turning quality for a smaller size and weight.

This is the smoooothest 13x13 ever I got it on my birthday and I loved.
