Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Good puzzle, but has some flaws

Ever since seeing Tony's Golden Cube for the first time, I just knew I had to have one. However, given the prohibitive price of his original puzzles, I was saddened by the prospect of possibly having to make my own. Then I came across The FangCun Ghost Skewb and was delighted that there was an equivalent puzzle made commercially available. Overall, it's really quite similar to Tony's Golden Cube; there are really on a few minor differences in the cuts, but the important geometries have been retained including the equilateral triangle with indistinguishable orientation. Normally, given how much I love the concept of this puzzle, I would have rated it much higher. However, there are some issues with the product that severely degrade my evaluation of it. First of all, the caps on each piece attached to the core are prone to coming off, thus I have resorted to using sticky tack underneath to hold them in place. Secondly, although the puzzle turns relatively smoothly once you set the tensions correctly, it would have been nice if the designers had incorporated ball bearings to give a tactile feeling for each 120 degree turn. Finally, the last minor complaint that I have is that the stickers have a brushed pattern - don't get me wrong, the stickers look nice and feel extremely durable - this defeats the intended purpose of the equilateral triangle piece. It is supposed to make the puzzle more difficult to solve by introducing parity errors, but the brushing reveals it's proper orientation. At least you can order replacement stickers from Oliver stickers to remedy this issue. Overall, I would say that the puzzle is satisfying and probably one of my most favourite to see scrambled, but is lacking in quality.

Difficult but annoying

The ghost skewb easily falls apart or pieces split open with little to no effort so you need to be extra careful with this one. A good challenge tho when it doesn't fall apart

Most Difficult Puzzle I've Messed With

I like the Ghost Cube series. I found this one extremely challenging. Yes it's just a skewb, and it can be solve one alg, however I found incredibly difficult to maintain my perception of the skewb while executing algs. Don't forget it has to be miss-aligned to turn. I feel that's what makes this the most challenging, along with the fact you also have center rotation to worry about. All that on top of the normal ghostly difficulties.

I did have some pieces pop off as well, which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Another Ghost, yes please.

Centers kept popping out. Caps kept popping off as well, so I applied small pieces of tissue over the large holes and forced the caps on through it, now they stay put with no glue. After wiping out the factory lube, tightening the tensions, and re-lubing, the centers stopped popping out, and now it turns great. It's worth the money, if you dont mind putting in a little TLC.

Feels solid and heavy.

This cube feels solid and turning is smooth. Pieces pop out easily somtimes. Feels much better than my FangShi LimCube 2x2 Ghost Cube.

Looks nice

I got this cube in black and gold, and it looks amazing! It is very challenging, and I haven't solved it yet. I have always wanted a Golden cube/ghost skewb, so I immediately got this. Easy to disassemble and reassemble, too.

Sticker problems

The cube turns extremely well and is extremely fun to solve. The only problem I had with it was that the stickers are already starting to peel in some spots and I just got the cube today. Some of them are aligned quite poorly overall giving the puzzle less of a professional look. Other than that, a great puzzle
