Product Description

This is the new Type C IV WitLong 3x3. It features a ball-like extension of the center piece which locks in the edges to minimize popping. The cube feels crispy and comes light and quick out of the box.

Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Old Twisty Puzzle Review #2 (Type C IV WitLong)

This, along with the DaYan LunHui, were my first "old" twisty puzzles I ever bought. OOTB, this puzzle is way too tight, as stiff as a Rubik's 3x3. Turning this puzzle, it's rather loud, although it has a nice crisp feel that most new puzzles don't have. The mechanism of this puzzle is pretty unique, but when putting this back together, I just couldn't put it back in. I swear, I spent a solid 10 minutes putting this edge piece back in. After loosening it and putting the piece back in, the puzzles turns much better. The corner cutting is rather decent for it's time, although I do get lock ups occasionally. The pros and cons are listed below, as well as what I have to say about this puzzle, all wrapped up.

Pros:
-Sticker Shades look nice, even with today's standards.
-Corner Cutting is decent
-Satisfying crispy feel

Cons:
-Loud as all hell
-Edge piece is damn near impossible to put back in

Overall, I recommend this puzzle for collectors. WitEden really did well with Type C puzzles and I'm proud to own this. This cube just cements their place into cubing history.

This is an amazing cube. It does not lock up. It does not pop. Corner cutting is best of all the cubes I had and speed is great too. Also it is one of the most smoothest cubes I have had. I really like this cube and is best speedcube I have ever owned.

First and foremost, this is a sub-par cube. It quaintly tries to accomplish what other cubes can already do.

There are few good things to say about this cube. The stickers are quite nice. The shades are pretty bright, but on a white cube, a lot of them seem pale and thin. The other criterion this cube does well in is corner cutting. However, it's nothing superior over DaYan cubes.

It's worth noting that the mechanism is original, however the novel concept comes with a faulty result. The cube catches incessantly which almost voids the good corner-cutting altogether. Certain triggers and finger tricks just do not perform well with this cube. The catching is a hindering factor overall.

In conclusion, this cube is good if compared to a storebought, but it's nothing to write home about and is far from being my main cube.
