The MS3R is a new flagship 3x3 from DianSheng. This puzzle is fully adjustable and features a new hand-adjustable core that allows for two different core setups. One is tighter and the other more loose. The tensions are also hand-adjustable ranging from 1-5.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

This cube is bad. It's not the worst cube I've ever tried, but it's almost unusable. Firstly, the price. This cube is way overpriced. I would be content with the price if it was about 17-18$, but even then I wouldn't buy it. On the tightest tensions, it feels like it's melting in your hands when you solve on it. It is so flexible and loose that my fingers somehow ended up in between pieces on some occasions. Also, the corner twisting problem. The corners twist maybe 1 out of 10 solves (again, on the tightest tensions). Another thing is the center caps pop out probably twice as much as the corners twist (can't believe I am typing that at the tail end of 2023). The tensions are barely readable on the plastic tensioning thing beneath the center cap. I have 20/20 vision and I can hardly see the numbers. Speaking of the tensioning system, the tensions never stay the same. I will put this cube on the tightest tensions and a few solves later I'll check back at the tensions only to find that some sides are not on the tightest setting anymore.

After all that bad, I will talk about some of the good things. The cube has a very unique feel, which is the only thing that brings me back to solve on it. I also really like the core adjusting system. I think it's creative and innovative, and it provides a different feel for the cube. I also really like the logo design on this 3x3 and other 3x3's Diansheng has released lately. Lastly, I like the translucent purple part of the pieces, it is very cool.

Just buy a tornado.

VERY GOOD

This cube is very beautiful with the blue interior in UV or pink in frosted.
Above all it is very smooth, fast and silent

It’s decent

It’s not too bad, I wouldn’t pay full price for it tho only when it is discounted to 12-13$. It has a really unique feel sorta hollow and clacky. It feels somewhat unstable at times and the tensioning system is weird, but the corner cutting it’s quite good.

Surprizingly good

DianSheng is hands down my favorite brand, and I needed a new 3x3. This one gives a whole new dimension to "sexy moves", it's like it's impossible for this puzzle to ever catch, unless you do it on purpose. Nice!
