The MoFang JiaoShi Mini 3x3 Keychain cube measures just 4.0cm across, making it about 2/3 the width of a typical 3x3 and a bit larger than the usual 3x3 keychain. It is extremely lightweight, and this version features a keychain. Like most cubes from MoFang JiaoShi, the Mini 3x3 Keychain turns very well right out of the box, and it features vibrant stickerless bright shades.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

it is very flexible, it cuts corners 45 the texture is the best and it resist falls, I dont use it as a keychain but it is really nice, quiet and it is a powerful cube

When i opened the cube up it was fast and very nice but it was very loose and the smallest bit dry so I tok my time and tentioned and lubed the cube and it was nice but don't mess up the tensions there is a certain tetension nsion that was perfect also the key chain broke 2 days after I got it so I would be careful if it matters to you.

Cute Yet Functional!

When you think of a keychain and/or mini cube, you can almost certainly expect it to not turn well at all whether it's bad corner cutting or just really stiff. Not so with this one! What you're looking at here is basically a miniature speed cube. It has the triangular corner stalks/feet, double-notched edges, smooth turning, fast, excellent recognizable shades, 45-degree corner cutting, a bit of reverse cutting, adjustable tensions, etc...

Any catch? Well, in order to get such corner cutting it has to be rather loose for some reason despite having a seemingly identical mechanism to a regular MF3, though smaller scale of course. That allows for corner twisting to happen fairly often. The surfaces are also frosted and not smooth/glossy, so it's a bit slippery. I wouldn't let these small flaws stop you from getting it though if you are looking for a good pocketable cube.

Oddly mine came with a keychain that was a tad defective in that the hinge for the smaller of the two latches was too wide and it was allowed to open too wide on it's own due to looseness not matching up the tips, making it difficult to get on and off the cube for a solve due to how little of the latch I had to hook under my nail. I was able to fix it easily by bending it a tad tighter with pliers and haven't had an issue since, but it was weird. I don't expect this to be the norm though.

Overall, the cube isn't scratchy and it turns smoothly. It doesn't corner cut nearly as great as the YuXin keychain cube, but it is a good size and the matte finish to the cube makes for a great feel. OLL and PLL is very great on this. While I do recommend the YuXin keychain cube over this one, the one advantage that the MoFang has that is a deal breaker for me over any other keychain cube is the fact that the keychain is detachable!

This cube is way better than most cubes for a key chain cube.

Not good

I would recommend getting the 3.5cm one instead because it performs way better. This one is slow and doesnt turn very well.
