MoYu WeiLong GTS2 M 3x3 (WCA Record Edition)

The factory magnets in this cube are almost so weak as to be ineffective in their purpose. Fortunately, this was remedied by installing the RS3 M 2020 magnet kit in it. Other than that, I have nothing but good things to say about it; the corner cutting is really nice and it has a buttery smooth feel, especially after breaking in and lubing a bit. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I had to spend an axtra $0.99 on magnets to make it a bit more stable.

My first reaction was...holy crap this is too fast and uncontrollable for me!!! But after spending some time and setup I have to say it is an amazing cube. Very very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

Out of the box it was very tight so I setup it with a gummy feel:
First you have to cleen the cube as most you can.
Second ressemble the cube
Third get a corner and a edge add some dignitas than break it in take two opposite pieces and add some gravitas break it in
Last add some mystic on the trakses and weight5 on the pieces
Ready to use!!!

I love the new colors on this cube and I enjoy this cube a lot. My only problem with moyu cubes lately is they put really bad spring sets in as default. I had to replace these springs with the gts2 hardware from previous versions of this cube. They did this with the WRM too. Otherwise, great cube....

This cube has stronger magnets and i love it. The thing is why there isnt a black plastic version.

It’s perfect for one hand solve

I had gotten this last year through another platform. I don't remember the first impressions but I remember I liked it. It is the special version of the GTS2M with slightly different colors, I had gotten a GTS2 as well at the start of this year which has full bright color shades while this one has half bright colors (blue and red are darker) and it's finish is more frosted like the rs3m 2020.
It's fast, stable and buttery smooth and has a high class premium feel to it. Corner cutting is excellent both forward and backwards. I have all the main rs3ms except for super v2 and maglev versions. This cube even without core magnets and dual adjustment system completely blows away the base dual adjustment versions of the rs3m 2019, rs3m 2020, super rs3m and the rs3m v5. Although for it's price you can get 2 or 3 rs3ms but still it's worth it.
Also, it's supposed to be the celebratory special edition of the world record so it's value is in collector terms too, but on its own it's a solid cube and for me it's still main worthy in 2025 or going into 2026.

This cube is my main, but out of the box it was way too fast, so i had to slow it down, but besides that, it is amazing!

Pretty smooth, but the Matte surface makes it a bit slippery
