Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

I'm glad I bought this for a project

I first bought this cube because it was cheap. When it first arrived, the tensions were too loose and it popped within seconds of turning. After retensioning, I found that turning one face turned the opposite face. It's hard to do finger tricks because things move when I'm not expecting them to. I'm just glad I'm using this for a project and nothing more.

Hey, thats pretty OK.

This 4x4 is OK. Its a good beginner 4x4. I picked this up because of the discounted price of 5 US dollars. The inner pieces turn smoothly, but outer ones struggle to get 90 degrees. This cube pops a lot OUT OF THE BOX, but with the right tensions and maybe some lube, you got yourself an OK speed 4x4.

Its OK for a beginner cube

This WitFour I got for my birthday was good out of the box. But when I put Maru Lube in it, it was rally slowed down.

This cube was my first 4x4. I got a stickerless version of the cube because that was back when I was into stickerless puzzles. Right out of the box, I noticed one extreme defect with this cube- The popping. It popped every solve, in fact it was a bother to solve this thing. On one of the two solves i brought myself to do on this cube, it popped SIX TIMES. And for one of them, I actually lost one of the center pieces. That doesnt bother me, because I hated this cube anyways. I took this cube apart to examine it, and I found that it was similar to most 4x4s with the internal edges, although they were assembled in the form of a ball core and they really did not serve the purpose they were supposed to. If you want a good 4x4, either save 12 bucks with a Shengshou v5 or pay a bit more for a MoYu Aosu.

I received my cube earlier today. I immediately went to work, disassembling the cube, cleaning out the factory lubricant, lubricating the core and screws(I left the pieces dry, to help spped up the break-in process), and reassembling it. Upon reassembling the cube, with the tensions on each side set to 1 turn below the maximum tension, the cube exploded, sending one of the centerpieces of thee internal 3x3 core flying off. I have since spent the past 4.5 hours frantically trying to find a solution to this problem, only to be met with failure each time this cube is assembled, or comes very close to being assembled. Each time, a single centerpiece from the internal 3x3 core, sending all or nearly all of the pieces of the cube accross my floor. Unsurprisingly, the only 3 centers this happens to are the three not on the cubic, notched sections of the internal 3x3 core. No matter how I reassemble it, no matter what I try, I cannot reassemble this cube into working condition. This is the first time I've averted my eyes from the puzzle. I've been hunched over it on the floor and I feel like my back is affixed in the most awkward position possible. I hope this was merely a flaw with my cube, and not a widespread problem. I assume it's not, as no one has reported this issue other than myself. On a positive note, the packaging was amazing, and definitely held up nicely while in transit.

I had a lot of high hopes for this cube. So my 4x4 experiences include v3 and v4 (stock and modded) SS 4x4s, Eastsheen, Moyu, and 2 different Dayan/MF8 4x4s.

The WitFour falls somewhere in the middle of the that range. Better than the Dayan MF8 and EastSheen and Moyu/YJ but still not as good as even unmodified ShengShous. The inner layers turn amazingly with zero lockups (this is the one thing better than on the SS cubes) but the outer layers are crunchy and almost sound like ShuangRen type plastic. However, I think this will get better as it breaks in. Furthermore, I think this cube probably has potential for some good modding.

One neat thing about the mechanism is that the middle layers do not latch onto anything other than it's 'sibling' outer layer. On an SS, the center pieces wrap around the core and the inner edges but on this cube the edges in the middle layer and the centers grab onto the outer layer pieces, which is clearly why the center layers spin so nicely and likely why there is so much more friction between the inner and outer layers.

I intend to put a few hundred solves on it and then take it apart and try to reduce some contact points between the inner and outer layer pieces.
