Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

I went from probably the cheapest and the worst pyraminx to this perfect one. Think about thar feeling when you first turned a good 3x3. This is it.
This pyraminx is the best on the market, really nice to turn, never pops, overall a great cube. Between the bell and the moyu magnetic, buy this one for two reasons. The bell has better colors (brighter, better quality, and easier to recognize) and it has better turning (the magnets are not as weak as the moyu magnetic so tips can be instantly adjusted for maximum efficiency and precision. In terms of what the pro shop does, they put some really nice lubes in it so it is smoother and more comforting in many ways, this will make you faster, enjoy the puzzle more, and there are no bad side effects like stickiness. This product has given me no problems, and is very nice, I highly recommend it. (And on a note to Cody Bankert in the comments, your problems are most likely caused by your pyraminx being too tight, tight pyraminxes are practically unusable in my expericence).
IT IS SO AWESOME it need break in of course but after a few 36 solves i broke in and was so smooth and fast although once you just get it it is very greasy on the outside
Everything is ok. One of the tips were really stiff/dry/slow, but that went away after a few weeks.
This cube is amazing the price i got it for was amazing because of a sale i got at 15$ the year before i bought a Moyu magnetic which i thought was the best until i felt the cubicle bell pyraminx and the cube felt amazing and was very controllable the only bad thing was that at the beginning the magnets were too strong but you get used to them . I recommend buying this cube if you want to get more into the pyraminx.
it's a good cube, but there is way too much lube, and i am dropping the puzzle several times. also locks up a lot, but otherwise, it's a great cube :)
This is my first pyraminx and it has exceeded expectations. At first it was gummy, due to the lube that the cubicle had put onto it, but after some breaking in, it felt like magic. I would definitely recommend this puzzle to everyone.
When I first got this cube, there was so much lube on it that I dropped the puzzle several times. It was very slippery, so I couldn't really define the feel of this cube. After somewhere around 100 solves, all of the lube on the top finally came off. I was exposed to the real feel of this cube.
The magnets are very springy on the tips, and super smooth on the layers. The feel is extremely smooth and soft, with sufficient corner cutting, somewhere around 30 degrees, which is more than enough for a pyraminx. Also, where I used to average 15-18 seconds on a crappy Z-pyraminx with ball bearings, I now average 12-15 seconds, which is well under cutoff for my next competition! A huge thanks to TheCubicle for setting up my new pyraminx main!
Ootb this cube was way too fast, and I thought that the magnets were too light. I wish it came woth the extra magnets because I actually had to take magnets out of my other Bell pyraminx to make the tips stronger. I also put all of the edges on their strongest magnetic setting. The cube was still too uncontrollable, so I added 3 drops of Compound X. After all of that the pyraminx was really good, but for a pre set-up cube it sure did require a lot of set-up. I’m sure some people would like this ootb, but personally it was way too uncontrollable, and required a lot of set-up.
