Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

I bought this because I forgot that the mgc elite existed but it turns good. Its a bit bumpy because the magnets are a tad strong.Corner cutting is acceptable for a 2x2 in 2022 it does struggle a bit with 45 degrees but really you arent doing those big cuts in solves so its fine
Finally got my average down to about 2 and a half seconds after getting the yj mgc! Definitely recommend
YJ MGC 2x2
This is a good magnetic and cheap 2x2.
So this was my first 2x2 speedcube, and I think its a great cube to start with. It feels a bit dry before setting it up but once you lube it, it turns very smoothly. The corner cutting on this is great, it can corner cut from everywhere. The magnet is weak and I like strong magnets so I really don't like that. Also this cube pops a lot for a cuber with rough turning like me, and you have to tighten the cube to make it so that it won't pop. I don't like the fact that this don't have anything adjustable, but its $12. It worth the money.
But the pieces are very cheaply made, and the main corner piece broke. the corner piece is held together by a really thin stick (see picture). if you don't want to experience the thing I experienced, then don't buy this, buy the GAN 251 M Pro/Leap instead, my friend has that and it never pops. If you have accurate turning then this is a good cube for you, but if you rely on magnets a lot and/or have rough turning, then this is not for you. I hope this review helps you to choose the right cube.
This cube is ok, it has a cheap feeling to it and the turn feels a little grainy. The corner cutting is good, and it not a bad cube. Its just not what i was expecting for 10 bucks.
This is a great cube once it has been set up, but the corner pieces tend to break very easily.
Solid cube and turns well. Great for the price.
I bought the MGC 2x2 as my first 2x2, and ootb, it was great, but there’s quite a bit of spring noise, and the corner cutting is moderate(although, I’m admittedly not the best judge when it comes to 2x2) Overall it’s great for the value, and its works fine for me(I don’t do 2x2 much, just casually) but I’ve felt better 2x2s
I broke a peace twisted it of but I think that is user error
