Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Keeps cube from breaking so it’s good
This mat was high quality, in great condition, and stylish. It has grips on the bottom
And a nice texture on the top. It does a great job of protecting the cube when you drop it after solves. 5 star product, would order again if lost/ stolen. Great job Cubicle!

Idk it’s just amazing
Having collected several mouse and keyboard desk mats/pads over the years, I was expecting this mat to be about the same. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the Cubicle mat is a fair amount thicker, not only providing a little more cushioning for cubing, but also giving the mat more heft that should help keep it from sliding around. As a bonus, the thicker material didn't retain the shape from being rolled up and flattened out immediately when I placed it on the desk. In the side view photo, the Mini Mat is stacked on top of a nice quality desk mat from the LTT Store, showing the extra thickness of the Mini Mat.
The top surface and edge stitching both look and feel premium, and the rubbery surface on the back provides a solid amount of grip. The logo print is clean and the different shades of gray look nice without being distracting. I have a couple of the more colorful Mini Mats that are also high quality, but I think I prefer the more understated, minimalist look of this Dark Mode version.
Being a mini mat, it doesn't take up a lot of extra space, but it's still large enough for cubing practice assuming your timer is underneath it and the cube slams aren't too extreme. I was able to fit it next to my regular desk pad on my computer desk, and it blends right in. I'm not quite at a level where I'm slamming down my cube to shave off a couple of milliseconds, but I'm sure it will hold up just fine over time.
For the price, I was definitely not expecting this level of quality. Anyone looking for a nice, simple, and very affordable cubing mat that also happens to rep your favorite cubing store, look no further than the Dark Mode Mini Mat.

It just cool
This mini mar is a very good one. It is very good for the price and is a nice size. It is readabily thick and will stop your cube for getting damaged. It is also is very smooth and professional feeling. The grip on the bottom of the mat makes it not move when you slam your hands down on your timer. In all I think it is a great mat and you should get it.
