Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

It’s ok

I tried it out and it keeps turning the inner parts

Wow

Usually when I write reviews I tend to point out the negatives of the cube from a competitive standpoint. I couldn't find any issues with this cube other than it's size being slightly too big. This cube is definitely one of the most competitive 5x5s on the market tied with the AoChuang V6.

Probably the best 5x5 I have ever used.

Coming from the Diansheng 5x5 to the Gan 5x5 is like night and day. The Gan 5x5 doesn't lock up where the Diansheng one did. This cube has a light crispy feel to it and I think the tensions are perfect where they are so they didn't need any adjustment. (Good job Gan. Now fix the Gan 15) For the lube, I just dumped a bit of FZ Calm in the cube and broke it in. Skill issue by me however is the fact that I put too much lube in the middle layers and the cube became incredibly sticky. But after I broke it in and fixed the lube problem, it retains the nice crispy feel but tones it down a bit and becomes smooth while being crispy.

Durability poor

My grandson drop it within 30 minutes and when it hit the floor the corner broke off. Not sure if it is fixable? Sad . It was for his 14th birthday.
Expensive gift to break so quickly

Hi Patricia,

Thanks for your review, and I am sorry to hear that a corner broke! We have spare parts available for a few dollars, and we can provide installation oinstructions as well. If you're interested, please reply to this message.

This cube saved me

I improved my times even after switching to yau, i improved by about 45 seconds in a few weeks. its also just so addicting to practice with and it’s gotten me liking the even again. the magnets are a bit strong on the outer layers but some dnm and loosening the tensions can fix it.

Best 5x5 period.

It is just soooooooo good dropped my average and single by 30% instantly. I would argue that it is my new favourite cube to turn out of my whole collection by a long shot.

Great cube, caps dont fall off

For context, I mained the Dayan Nezha before getting the Gan 562.

This cube just blew my expectations away. Both the outers and inners felt very stable and when solving, it just flowed more nicely. 3x3 stage has never felt easier, and there's just something about the inner layers that have me turning this cube everyday. It is addicting to turn, I've never been the type to solve a cube more than a 100 times in a day, but the first day I got this cube I went over 500 solves.

My only problem with it is that it 'feels' larger than my old main, which doesnt make sense because both cubes are around 62mm. Maybe its a half mm difference or the corners are sharper on one cube, but yeah it's a little weird. Maybe other people might feel the same way if they try it, but it takes a little getting used to to unlock the cube's potential.

Despite that issue, and the price issue (Im not eating for at least a week, but it was worth it), this cube is an instant main for me and will probably be an instant main for people who havent been keeping up with 5x5 tech (at least, for people who havent gotten a 5x5 in 2 or 3 years). I was able to shave around 20 seconds in my ao12s, a rough descriotion would be going from 1:40 ish to 1:20 ish and sometimes going in the realm of 1:15 and below. I even got my first sub 1:10 solve (1:08:xx) with this cube.

I'm also fairly certain that in 2 years, the Gan 562 won't have caps that fall off during solves, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Overall, it's a great cube!

Wow! We finally have a good 5x5!

This cube is just stellar. The outers are great, but the inners are what make this cube so amazing. It is quite fast while being extremely stable. I have not had a single lockup or pop while cubing. I just added 2 drops of DNM-37, and it isn’t too fast or dry. I can finally enjoy this event!
