Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Flagship level performance and feeling for budget value!

This is a wonderful cube which feels very nice to turn and use. The piece to piece contact is very nice, and feels soft and buttery smooth in between and start and end of each turn. The part between each turn gives tactility and crispiness to the overall experience, leading to turns which are smooth but very distinct. You get softness, but not a too-smooth feeling.

I set this cube up with dignitas and gravitas. Prior to adding lube to the pieces, I added gravitas to the plastic core for a longer lasting puzzle and light silicone to the springs for smoothness, and set the cube at tension 1, compression 1 because it felt somewhat flexible and not that losse. The cube feels very blocky out of the box, and has some lockups. But the feeling is very light, and if you turn light, the cube is not as blocky. But when I added gravitas, the break in process was very fast. The cube began to feel less stiff, unbelievably flimsy and loose, and pretty uncontrollable. Gravitas made sticky lock-ups happen, too. I changed the setup to 3,3 for the moment Dignitas made the cube feel less clacky. I changed the tension and elasticity in combinations that had each reaching up to four clicks for about a week. After many combos, I found that Tension 1, Compression 3 worked best for fluidity with minimal lockups, but stability capable of holding the cube together.

People wonder why the magnet strength is stronger on the non-ball core versions. I have probably figured it out. Considering how the 8-magnet ball core and especially 20-magnet ball core versions are pretty flimsy out of the box with added stability and just a little bit weaker of magnet, I think the standard version needed extra support to be usable. But Moyu's justification for weaker ball core versions magnets is consistency and freedom to turn. I can see this, the 8 and 20 magnet ball core versions have more distributed magnet strength and have control, but fluidity compared to the standard version, which has enhanced blockiness.

One issue, as I have stated, is the holding back of options. The v11 needs somewhat precise, but very light turning. This version has stability issues and may still be flimsier and lockier than the MAGLEV version on some settings. I have to tighten the cube to make it stable, then loosen It for flexibility. I could find almost no options that gave flexibility and space to turn, but not much flimsiness. If you don't care about fluidity and are advanced enough for a light and accurate turning style to be present, you can probably live with Tension 2, Compression 4 or Tension 4,Compression 2 or some other combination. 3,3 is generally optimal for people that don't really turn fast enough for lockups or want stability or tighter turning. But Tension 1, Compression 3 is my favorite, but not most recommended setup.

I find the lock-ups making this cube not as beginner-friendly, but more premium and high-performance, compared to the v10 and v9. Also, I think that the v9 is better than the V10 because the V10 is like the v11, but more catchy, irresponsive, and cheap in plastic quality, and less fluid. The v9, however is flexible but still stable. A little bit older and more gummy in plastic, if I do say so myself. But still flexible.

So yeah, if you want more space to turn, get the ball core versions. But note that edges are not hooked in as well and can turn a bit, and also shake.

Amazing for price

I got this cube for twenty dollars and it performs much better than my older tornado v3.
