Product Description

The Cyclone Boys 4x4 borrows its design from other high-performing 4x4 cubes. It measures 62.7mm across, and it features a mechanism similar to that of the ShengShou 4x4 series except with larger big internal pieces and stockier corners. Out of the box, the outer layers turn very well.

Currently only available in Stickerless.

Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Slow and Catchy

I have had decent experiences with other Cyclone Boys cubes so I figured I would give this a try. It was very disappointing. The outer layers can move somewhat decently with a lot of lube, but not the inner layers. They kept catching and I had to slow down a lot when doing edge pairing or algorithms that involve the inner layers so it wouldn't pop. Another thing is this cube is very noisy, overall it's one of the worst 4x4s I have used. Spend your money on a better cube.

DO not buy this!

I've had this cube for a while and it is horrible! It pops all the time and is not easy to put back together. Its very slow and hard to turn. over all bad cube. save your money and do not buy this!

BAD!!! DO NOT GET!!!

This is literally THE WORST cube brand there is. In my opinion, Cyclone was never really a speedcube brand and their 4x4 is extremely slow and catchy. Even loosening it or lubing it doesn’t fix anything. It is also very small, tight, and grinds a lot.

If you still haven’t understood what I’m saying, DONT BUY THIS CUBE!!!

Had high hopes, popped on the third turn

I received the cube and took it out of the packaging and was excited. I turned it twice then on the third one of the middle pieces popped into my face. I thought it might just be like first turns but no, after 2 more turns the inner piece popped inward and I was unable to retrieve it. then I took out the piece on top of it but then the entire thing just collapsed and i wasn't able to fix it so i returned it

It worked... till it popped

This cube wasn't very good and when it popped I had to take it all the way apart and it took like two hours to find out how to put it together and to put it together and then when I finally got it together one of the sides wouldn't turn unless you gave it a lot of force then it would so getting any good time was impossible.

Not good

It was good out of the box, but after a few solves it started popping and then, the top 2 layers exploded! Would not recommend.

Zero stars if i could...

This cube was terrible. First, after i was using it for maybe 2 hours, i noticed that one of the internal extender edge pieces was missing. That was why it popped so much when i used the inner layers. Next, the performance is really bad. The outer layers are just meh, fine turning, but not the best. The inner layers are a disaster waiting to happen, though. 8/10 times it will pop, and have to spend a half hour trying to put the puzzle together again. I once had it where the inner layers just straight up jammed, and had to take the whole thing apart and put it back together. This thing has a serious problem with pops. If this cube had fixed inner layers, with a better anti-pop mechanism, maybe i could rate it higher, but for now, I wouldn't recommend this cube at all.

Broke Easily

When I was more of a beginner, I was turning slower and this cube was great. When I got faster and wanted to get my times down, the cube popped almost every solve. Eventually, one of the edge pieces snapped and I bought a new 4x4.

If you wanted to know I got a Moyu Aosu and it is amazing!
