Product Description

The Rubik's Perplexus Hybrid 2x2 is a fully functional 2x2 with an extra twist! This puzzle uses and internal metal ball, combined with different paths in each piece to make it more than a 2x2. Put the ball in the start position and travel through each cube until you reach the end! But make sure you do them in order!

Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Hmm...

I thought you would've solved the entire 2x2 before taking on the marble maze, but no. They want you to solve blocks AS you move through the maze. So while keeping the tiny ball on the narrow tracks of one cubie you have to turn the other sides of the giant cube to align the correct track from another cubie. Yes, you have to find the one cubie that contains the track that aligns with the one your marble is currently on, then solve that cubie next to the current one in the correct orientation. Good luck keeping the marble on the track while you do this. If it actually turned well, it wouldn't be a big problem. But you see, it's a Rubik's brand cube that turns pretty badly. And it's enormous (over 10 cm in size!).

Well, at least they included a guide leaflet in the package which shows you what color cubies you have to run the ball through over the course of the maze, helping a bit with the "finding" aspect.
