Product Description

This is the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) version of this product. To see the Assembled version of this product, please click here.

The DaYan LunHui is the fourth cube of the DaYan series and the first to feature anti-pop torpedoes. Here's what we think:

  • Stable and solid
  • Incredibly flexible with corner cutting
  • Turns feel smooth and controlled
  • Features built-in torpedoes that minimize popping
In summary, the LunHui has a very “substantial” feel that makes turning extremely enjoyable. Also, the combination between its smoothness and its solidity allows you to turn your heart out without pops or lockups. Have fun being indestructible.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Why does the DIY Kit cost more than the Assembled version?
The DIY Kit contains many small and loose parts, so it requires additional labor compared to Assembled cubes, including screening them for missing, incorrect, or broken parts and providing after-sale service. Unfortunately, due to the extra labor and costs associated with maintaining a high level of quality in our DIY Kits, we must charge a little more for the DIY Kits than for the Assembled cubes.

Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

If you're good at DIY, try this cube!!!

Cuts 45 and reverses 2/3. Fast, precise, solid. A solid Mix between the Gu V2 and the Zhan. Tensions a tad tighter than you might think and still performs--dare I say dances!

Under-rated is a bad word. This cube has been mistakenly discounted. I have seen mixed reviews on this brick all about the internet but did not allow that to deter my purchase.

This cube only reinforced my belief that DaYan designed and produces the best blocks compared to other well marketed brands that are flooding the market with unoriginal designs.

I was uncertain whether this cube was going to be good. Now I am certain that negative reviews by other purchasers represent poor DIY work or the rare lemon purchase.

I have 5 Dayan cube 2 Guhong V2s and 2 Zhanchis, and not a single one has proven itself to be less than superb. To the contrary, of 5 cubes, only 1, a white Zhanchi is ~just~ great. Of all my cubes, but more specifically my Moyu cubes, the Aolong V2 has under-performed the most dramatically. To this day (and this is no exaggeration) I still feel very little difference in speed and turning ability compared to my 4$ ShenShou Aurora. Blindfolded, I can identify the difference 50% of the time.

That being said, I'd take the Lunhui block at least alongside my Weilong V2 (a far superior cube to the Aolong V2), and that is a compliment to the Weilong. Though my Funs, Gu, and Zhan are getting a run for their money.

If you're good at DIY, try this cube!!!

This cube is pretty good. It's fairly fast and quite controllable. However, I would recommend you get a Zhanchi instead, because this cube has a fairly major misalignment problem which can result in lock ups which will ruin algorithms.

When I looked at this I was surprised there were no reviews. Anyway, this cube is amazing! At the tensions I have it at it cuts about line-to-line. I think this is a underrated cube. One problem I found was sometimes the corner and the edge would pop out of alignment but not out of the cube ( Because of the corner and edge design ). This does not happen often and this is no reason not to get this cube. Really great cube! I will 4 out of 5 because of the misalignment of the pieces. Again, only happens if you are reckless ( so doesn't happen often )
