Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

X-Man Shadow V2: Long Wait, But Worth It

I am a proud owner of the Shadow V1 that was my main for over 2 years. Now that the cube is starting to lose its good performance because of wear, I decided to grab the Shadow V2 instead of the MGC since I really trust the reliability of Qiyi puzzles. I have been waiting for a new flagship 6x6 from Qiyi for awhile now ever since the MGC started to make the Shadow V1 felt obsolete. When I took the Shadow V2 out of the box, the cube is noticeably lighter and smaller than the previous version of the Shadow. Turning out of the box is very effortless because of the extra grooves that make the cube low friction along with very fast and stable layers throughout the cube. Stability is also very phenomenal. I had 1 lockup and no pops when I am turning aggressively, but there is a little bit of catching involved. While the cube is still stock, I decided to lube the cube in combination of DNM, Lubicle Speedy, and Lubicle Silk to prevent the cube from dying out quickly. That resulted in a very buttery smooth turning along with a very fast inner layers and outer layers. Stability is still preserved after the setup. My times are very consistent in a very good way. I get very good results on this cube, but didn't break any PBs yet. Despite the imperfections of lockups and catches, it is pretty understandable that 6x6 hardware isn't perfect, but this cube is surely an improvement over other 6x6s including the MGC. As long that it is more stable and more satisfying to turn than its predecessor, I can say it is better. Overall, this is a great 6x6 and will be used by world class solvers. Recommend it? Yes.

The MGC 6x6 Blows

Miles ahead of the MGC6, If you ignore a few minor lockups here and there.

Pretty good

It’s light, a lot more stable than the mgc, it does require time to get used to however I do believe it is better than the mgc.

Terrific Puzzle!

6x6 Hardware is a really hard thing to get right. Combine that with a turn style that isn't well-suited to poorly engineered puzzles, and you can imagine why I (as well as many other people) have a hard time with 6x6 stability, etc.

All that being said, the X-Man Shadow V2 is a good, noticeable step in the right direction for 6x6 engineering. We may never have a perfect 6x6, but this puzzle is pointing us in a good direction. Definitely worth the price tag! Can and do recommend for any intermediate-to-advanced 6x6 solvers (I average mid-4 minutes)

Amazing Cube

This is my first magnetic cube. I’ve been on an old she yahoo for about 6 years. This is hands down the best cube I’ve bought. I’m amazed at how easily it turns. I find the magnets to be good. I don’t really have any point of reference though. But this cube is worth the price and the hype. Highly recommend it.

Needs breaking in

Very good cube but after many solves on it. As many other qiyi big puzzles the shadow v2 is quite bad out of the box (lockups, catcthes unstability...). I wouldn't recomend it if you just got into 6x6 because this a quite difficult puzzle to us but after some training in the event and also setuped the cube it is very good. Lighter and faster than the v1. It also pops a lot less than the MGC which is why I prefer the shadow v2.
To sum up I would recommend it if you already experience on 6x6 and if you're getting your first good 6x6 go for the MGC it's cheaper, easier to setup and to handle but the shadow gives better performances and has a better feel ( in my view).

Finally, a cube that lets me enjoy this event

This is by far the best 6x6 I have used. Finally, a 6x6 that doesn't pop (or at least feel like it's going to) all the time! I can turn fast on this cube without worrying about pops. Switched from the Yuxin Red that I used to main. My first solve on this cube was almost a PB single. I improved around 20-30 seconds from around 2:40 to around 2:10 to 2:20.

Good morning, I and my friend who I also bought one for, we are both very happy with the cube, it is the best working one I have ever bought and if the same company made 4x4 and 5x5 etc. I would probably get those as well at some point. Thank you
