Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

the cube's turning is just like your basic budget cube, and better yet is that the app is better on the eyes and snappier than GANCube's Cube Station app.
HOWEVER, sometimes the center caps would come a bit loose and cause the cube to gain "stickdrift" where the cube will essentially have no friction between cubes. when that happens, you'll feel like you're trying to speed cube on some slimy Changed Puro Goo. the worst part is that the turns will not register in the app, which has DNF'd a ton of my solves.
even though this problem can be rectified by pushing the center caps in, it's annoying.
a proposed solution to this problem is for Qiyi to manufacture new cores that do not have this problem.
It is pretty good, and I have really enjoyed the online battle feature, but it's not perfect. I wasn't expecting much from a brand new smart cube release, but it isn't bad. I do have one big issue. Whenever I connect it to my phone, I get a prompt to upgrade the firmware of the cube, but when I start the upgrade, I always get the same error that my phone can't download the firmware. I can still use it, but thats a bit annoying. Also turns pretty good

This cube is great it’s turning is more slow and controlable which is great and the app is really good it shows up and connects immediately and the practice section of the app works great. Idk what the other reviews are saying about stick drift but this haven’t happened and this cube is great.
First Smart cube as stated. I got the speed version instead of the art version. Out of the box it has some catches here or there, but I think proper set up will fix most of that. Hitting my PB or close most of the time. App works better than I expected. Some online features are only in Chinese. For the price this is well worth it in my opinion.
Update... After using the app for more time, I sometimes get DNFs for no reason. I think this is a bug (hopefully it will be fixed), but after doing about 25 solves against people/bots online I've had 3 DNFs, and my win ratio is still about 60%, but it hurts knowing it could be more accurate. So minus 1 star for that issue.
Can't connect cubeast to it. The QY software is awful, for timings randomly giving me DNFs, with now discernable way to set the length of time for a DNF.
