Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop".
This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces.
This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts
which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by
corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

This mat looks great and provides plenty of padding. The edges are sewn to keep them from fraying or tearing which is awesome - this really improves the durability of the mat. The colors are vibrant and it really brightens up any desk. This may is fairly thick and protects cubes well.
This large, square mat is the best size for cubing in my opinion. It provides plenty of space so you're not going to accidentally throw your cube off the mat. It's also not so wide that it becomes an inconvenience. I also own the other Moyu mat and it's so long it hangs off both ends of my desk. This one is a great size and should easily fit any table or desk. I don't have the Speedstacks WCA mat to compare, but judging by the images and timer attachment points I would guess this mat is a few inches larger on each side. I have included a picture with the YJ big timer for perspective. The holes for the timer are much smaller than they appear in the image; they're about the size of the small dots printed on the mat. This is actually a good thing as it means this mat doesn't have the problem of the QiYi mat where timer attachments go right through the holes.
On the subject of timer attachment pieces, that's the one annoyance I have with this mat. I bought both versions of this Moyu mat along with a YJ Big timer and none included the plastic pieces for securing a timer to the mat. Most timers have rubber feet that are grippy enough to secure the timer without the plastic pieces, but it still would have been nice to include them.

does what a mat does but really the 2 bulbs for the timer weren't on my mat when shipped. dunno what happened but yea. this mat is good i guess...
This mat is amazing; it has a very vibrant blue (more than it looks in the picture), a large, but not too large size, and a nice Moyu logo. Just note that due to its strange shape, it is slightly harder to roll up, but not by that much. Also with the strange shape, I found that the trapezoid-shaped empty space at the bottom is perfect to put my timer at. Overall, I would highly recommend you buy this mat
