Product Description

The GAN12 MagLev UV 3x3 is at the very peak of 3x3 innovation and design. This flagship puzzle includes adjustable magnets in the pieces and an adjustable magnetic levitation tension/compression system. This technology utilizes opposing magnets to imitate the feel of a spring while also reducing friction and spring noise. This version has a glossy finish out the outer surface.

If you're interested in the non-maglev version of this puzzle, you can find it here.

    Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

    Horribly unreliable for the price

As has already been brought to the public eye, the Gan 12 has catching issues, and in limited cases, the corner to core magnet stalks will break. This is absolutely unacceptable in a puzzle that is as expensive as this one is.

    Records will be broken.

My Pb is 28.39, so I don't claim to be good. However, switching from the Gan 11 M Pro to the Gan 12 M MagLev is the difference between night and day, in my opinion. I am a person who likes strong magnets, and the 12 check the box emphatically. The cube does NOT like to be misaligned, so for someone who often under turns, the cube is a godsend. The MagLev system noticeably reduces friction - which admittedly takes a good number of solves to get comfortable with - but the result is an improved experience. While I like the UV coating, I might switch to the soft texture pieces from my 11 M Pro, since the connection system is the same across both cubes. Overall, I predict that one of Tier 1 cubers is going to adopt the M 12 and break the 3x3 World Record. The cube is that good, in my opinion.

    Save your money..

Cant recomend at all. Cube gives nice feeling and its efortless to turn but is incredibly catchy which was noticed by many people already. With such a highi cost its usless piece of plastic.

    Fun cube!

This cube is actually very fun to do casual or time solves on. The turning is so unique. The sound when you turn is also unique. The UV coating is aesthetically beautiful plus it feels nice. You may have already heard from trusted reviewers that they don't like MagLev cubes in general or the Gan 12 MagLev is catchy. In my experience, I barely get any catches (sub-15 average) and I actually love MagLev cubes cuz of how it makes the turning much much more effortless and smooth than traditional springs. For the Gan 12 MagLev, you do need to get used to the effortless turning & the auto-aligning; once you've gotten used to it, you'll enjoy this cube a lot!

One thing I did to get used to this cube is to turn with little strength. Once you're comfortable turning fast with little force, you'll love this cube.

Edit: JPerm just dropped a new video that shows the catching problem with his Gan 12 MagLev. Fortunately for me, my Gan 12 MagLev doesn't have that issue. I've tried all sides and it corner-cuts just like my WRM MagLev, Tornado v2, and RS3M.

I wouldn't even pay $5 for another one of these.

i bought one so I could see if it was better than my wrm 2020, or my gan 11, but it's astronomically worse. The maglev design is too early in stages to be released as a mass-produced product. Stick with spring system's for now until they find a way to make them better.

The GAN 11 was perfection, the GAN 12 MAG MEV is even better

I’m not even sure how to describe this. The GAN 11 M Pro was light years ahead of any of my other cubes. It is super light and fast. It turns effortlessly.

The GAN 12 MAG LEV leaves the GAN 11 M pro in the dust. Same light cube. The magnets instead of springs actually remove all friction and you are left with a cube that literally glides. It is lightning fast and it is 100% easier to turn than the GAN 11 which itself was 100% easier to turn than any of my other cubes.

Oh, and did I mention how beautiful the UV coating is!!!

I’m not sure how anyone can possibly improve on this cube. It is quite the technological achievement.

It is the best cube in the world BUT.

For the price it should be a bit better and at the very least have more accesories.
