Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

vary smooth turning
the only reason this isn’t my main is because it’s a little bigger than the aosu wrm (by a couple millimeters) and a smaller 4x4 makes 3x3 stage better imo. but the mgc is half the price so this is definitely a good buy.
I've been grabbing a bunch of the MGC puzzles and they are all super smooth, fast and stable. This is no exception. All layers turn indentically. Couldnt be happier, especially at this price
I was using the AoSu WRM before this but I decided to give this a try after seeing how well the MGC 6 and 7 performed. I wouldn't say this is better than the WRM but if you are on a budget and are ok with a 60mm 4x4... This is really a nice puzzle.
I have heard it can pop and I can tell you need to be a more accurate turner compared to the AoSu... But this cube is so much faster and for someone who has hand and wrist issues... light and fast go a long way.
First of all the price was nice. Second I’m just a small cyber so I had a Meilong 4x4 which wasn’t that good for being a year old. I bought the MGC and I was amazed. OOTF it was a bit stiff but after adding weight 5 to the core and adding Dnm the cube turned terrific. Definitely recommend
I never planned to get into bigger cubes, but was gifted a Rubik's branded 4x4 a year ago. Super stiff, I had it for about a month before I felt compelled to replace it with a budget 4x4. This was a big improvement, but definitely felt cheap, and definitely not a puzzle I felt like picking up daily.
The MGC big cubes are really great. Other than a bit of spring noise (which can be minimized with Traxxas 50 on each end of the springs), I really have no complaints after tensioning to my liking and a couple drops of DNM-37.
I've never used a high-end big cube, but I think you get a lot of bang for the buck with these MGC cubes, and I am fully satisfied. And I *do* enjoy picking this up every day.
I've been cubing for less than a year so you'll have to take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I think this is a great 4x4 without even taking the price into consideration. It's dry OOTB, but with a little lube, it performs very well and doesn't require much setup.
I have a MoYu AoSu WR M, which is also a great cube, but required a lot more adjustments with the tensioning to get to a place that worked for me. That said if you're new to cubing and want something that performs well without much effort, I think this is a solid choice.
Best 4x4 for the money
ever since i got it my times have been improving
But it was my fault
