Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

This is my first 4x4 after getting a Rubik's brand years ago and I have to say I'm very happy with it! The magnets are good to have, and feel a fair bit stronger between the wings than the wings and corners, so it's a lot easier to turn an outer layer without turning the inside on accident, too.
Title explains the review, basically. Being my first 4x4 it's pretty good, making me fall in love with the event pretty easily. It turns well, specially when lubed, and I'd say this is a pretty good choice for your first 4x4, or even if you're just learning methods like Yau or Hoya. In conclusion, pretty good if you're on a tight budget.
Out of the box this cube is already decent and usable. It gets much better when lubed and tensioned. My only issue is the inner layers aren’t as smooth as I’d like them to be. It isn’t a big deal but slightly noticeable. Overall though great cube and I would recommend.
Ce cube à un feeling soft et agérable. Le seul inconveignant est qu'il est trop déséré a l'ouverture et qu'il est assez lâché. Sinon très bon cube
the 4x4 and higher MGC line is considered one of the best in the market at the time. I can say that it's also my personal favourite, and worth every penny. The puzzles are spectacular off the box and get even better with lube and setup. The shades (black with stickers) look nice and are very easy to distinguish.
The cube is a pleasure to turn and it has never popped on me even when turning fast. Highly recommend picking this up.
This is first 4x4 and it is AMAZING. Absolutely love it. Highly recommend.
I had ok expectations for this cube. I expected to have to spend time setting it up but out of the box it was amazing. This cube shattered my expectations. I only have one complaint, I find that sometimes when I turn too fast, sometimes the cube will pop. It only happened once or twice so its not really a big deal. I highly recommend this cube to anyone who wants an amazing 4 by 4 and doesn’t want to spend too much money.
This cube is fast, dry, and sandy out of the box. It isnt as smooth as the MGC 5x5 which is expected however it can be a little close when lubed with weight 5, mystic, digntas and dnm. I was surprised that this cube didnt slow down as much when a little over lubed with thick lubes. I only had the yj zhisu mini 4x4 before getting this cube and I have to say that this is better in every way, not just in size. The tensioning out of the box is perfect, and it doesnt pop at all.
Maybe I just got unlucky, but I had a pretty bad pop on my second solve of the cube, and another one pretty shortly after that. It's not happened again in the next 5 or 6 solves, but I did have one very complex lockup. I think some of this might have been due to the cube turning so much fäster than my old one though so I was turning kind of sloppy. I'd still recommend the cube anyway.
