Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

After the right mix of annoyance, ambition, and confidence, I decided to try and improve the spring noise issue I mentioned previously. I took out each spring and polished the ends (gently lapped them on quite fine honing stones), reassembled, and added yet another drop of lube for good measure… once I got the tensions back to something sane and balanced, this is now my go-to fidget cube to pass away a few minutes. I highly recommend it, despite the hurdles my particular unit had! 🙋🏼♀️
This cube is amazing, I've only had it for a few hours and I already got a PB with it (3:14.93 Single). It has amazing turning and exceptional corner cutting. I would recommend this cube to anyone getting into 5x5.
The cube is really good until one of the screws keeps coming out. I don't know why its happening but the orange screw keeps coming out of the core so it keeps popping on one side.
It is a really nice overall but it pops all lot my cube is now broke and 2 center pieces are gone but other then that great cube!
Very crispy and smooth and fast. It turns way better than I was expecting. At no point in solving did I get any nasty lockups or feel like it was going to pop. I'm pretty sure it was lightly lubed out of the box, but other than that there is nothing wrong with this 5x5.
This 5x5 is awesome! I got it with the lube setup and it was super fast but controllable. The outer layers are super fast and snappy and the inner layers are a little slower but i like that. OFTB the cube had really bad spring noise, but that was an easy fix with some weight 5 in the core. I highly recommend this cube to anyone. I am now sub 2 minutes because of this cube.
It is ridiculously fast ootb so I tightened and it is 100% what I wanted. Second 5x5, first magnetic. was averaging 2:40, now averaging 2:20! :)
Its a very fast cube and i think its one of the best 5x5 out there right now besides the valk
the thing that separates this cube from others is its price you can now get a good 5x5 for 21.99
This cube arrived with a miss-assembled corner piece, and The Cubicle was very helpful in dealing with that at no extra charge (video on how to disassemble; replacement part after they saw pics of the damaged internals; etc)…
My complaint is the excessive spring noise. They say such things go away with use, but not being a speedcubist (I make patterns and slow-solve to fall asleep sometimes), that may take years for me, lol… a drop of lube on the springs themselves (while tightening the puzzle a bit) helped slightly, but I still have to turn up my audiobook while working with this puzzle.
If it were not for the spring noise, this would easily be my favorite 5x5x5 (tho most I own are 20+ years old lol 🤷🏼♀️)…
Smooth turning and no lock up on solves definitely my new main
