Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Great

I own a lot of 7x7 cubes, but here is why I like this one. For someone with really bad wrist this MGC line has been great since they are so fast and easy to turn, it is effortless. I needed to make each side about 180 degrees tighter, and lubed this cube with Lubicle Silk & DNM-37. I am very impressed with how stable the outer layers are in the 3x3 phase, even with D Moves. When pairing edges I had a slight issue though. When doing the flipping alg an extra R layer would come up with the cube messing everything up, but I am sure I will adjust; it is just really fast I guess. There was a minor quality issue with the cube, on one of the corners there was a slight gap unable to close no matter how hard to tried to close it, but it isn't affecting my solves at all. Overall I would recommend this puzzle to anyone without a 7x7, however compared to the Spark it is not as stable in my opinion. As stated before, I have really bad wrist and this will be my main over the Spark, Hays, and AoFu due to the easy in turning.

Good puzzle but pops and locks are an issue

I got the cps service on mine so ootb tensions were decent and the puzzle felt very smooth and swishy but crispy when turning fast. The speed is slower than the Hays7, but this is not an issue as it’s still plenty fast. All layers felt even in feeling and speed. Feeling and speed is great, but pops and lockups hold it back. Even on moderate tensions the popping and centerpieces locking was too much, as on my second or third solve I had a complete explosion and a quarter of the cube was all over the room. My suggestion is to keep the tensions tighter than you usually would for 7x7 and apply some light lube to keep the turning and corner cutting up to par. I got a 2:41 single and a sub 3 ao12 on this cube so it has main potential but I’m still worried that it’s popping issue can reoccur. However the price for its outstanding qualities is excellent and shouldn’t be forgotten.

The Best 7x7 Since My Mother Was a Baby

For around $30. this is the juiciest, buttery smooth 7x7 you'll ever own!
I also own a YJ YuFu 7x7 V2 M which is an awesome cube for $20. but is a little more 'springy' in turning.

All the other reviews here are correct. It's practically a perfect cube. Needed no adjustments other than a bit of lube of your own choice. After several solves the MGC sticker in the white center starts to peel off at the edges but that's not an issue at all. I'd give this cube 10 stars if possible. And it also comes packaged in a handsome cardboard box!

Unquestionably Above The Rest

I’ve been cubing for 11+ years, and have purchased 5 different 7x7’s in that time, and I legitimately never thought the 7x7 hardware or mechanism would ever be executed this exceptionally well.

It’s so lightweight, yet very stable and robust, in a way that still feels premium. This weight matters so much more on 7x7, because a bulky cube means tired hands , which means shorter sessions, which leads to longer average times. This fixed that almost completely for me.

On top of this, it has some other excellent characteristics, like very vibrant and distinguishable color shades, even turning amongst all the layers, and the corner cutting is more than sufficient.

The only complaint would be that this cube pops at loser tensions, and the magnet strength on inner layers feels a bit weak at times, which can lead to misalignments when attempting m-moves during 3x3 stage of solves, but that’s something that shouldn’t even be attempted in the first place if you’re getting competitive in the event.

Even with those two minor drawbacks, this cube is unquestionably the foremost recommendation and market leader for 7x7 hardware.

If you’re on the market for 7x7, get this cube. Enough said.

Great cube!

This was my first 7x7. It turns very well out of the box, requires some tensioning to preference. Haven’t had a pop for the few weeks I’ve had it. It’s a great cube! Highly recommend. Also highly recommend TheCubicle! Customer service is excellent!!

Great Cube!

I'm not a speed cuber by any means, I was just looking for a nicer 7x7 and this one is fantastic. Love the size and weight, and the turning is excellent! For a hobbyist like me it's a great addition to the collection.

This cube is wonderful. It has smooth layers throughout turns and it’s satisfying to turn. I had only one problem with it and that’s that the second layer gets caught on the first layer when doing pll algorithms which can mess up your centers so be prepared for that if you ever think about buying this cube. Other than that it’s a great cube.

Great Cube

When I got this cube at first, it didn’t feel great. It was felt a bit blocky. After breaking it in, however, the blockyness went away and it easily became my favorite and best performing 7x7. The turning is just great and big cube lockup’s rarely occur. My times have gotten significantly better because of this cube.

Super

A significant upgrade from the YJ Yufu V2 M 7x7, this cube was faster, more effortless, and doesn't lock up too much. The inner layers needed some gravitas so they wouldn't turn independently with outer layers. Once controllable, Its a pleasure to solve. Definitely professional.
