Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Great

Simply superb 4x4. It will not hinder you in any way; it is just as useable as any other flagship, and far cheaper.

Dry OotB but gets better immediately. I don't setup my cubes until I've broken them in a bit and for me at least the problem fixed itself, I only had to re-lube about a week and a bit in. People tend to go overboard with their setups as soon as they get their cubes for some reason, I encourage you to allow the cube to come into itself a bit before you drown it in lube. You can't break it in properly when it's coated in Silk and Martian and all the other things you guys bathe the plastic in.

Tensions were fine OotB. Inner pieces pop occasionally but not often enough to be a problem. Have never experienced any unusually persistent lock-ups myself, I assume those that have are operating on a far looser setting. Cube comes with two sets of spare springs: stronger and weaker. I've tried them all and prefer the ones it comes with.

Inner layer magnets are stronger than outer layer ones, which makes those double-M slices super easy. Spare magnets are included of both strengths, though not many.

Size is fine, and the cube is quite light, which is nice. I will never understand the mindset that a 1mm size difference is at all significant, as I can achieve my average (sub-40) no matter the cube size, but some people do, and I guess that's down to hand size. If you have smaller hands, are an elite, high-level competitor, and are hypercritical about your hardware, *maybe* consider buying a different cube. If not, I wouldn't worry about it.

I bought both stickered and stickerless versions to test them out. No noticeable difference in terms of feel. Sticker shades are fine, I struggle to tell apart red and orange usually, but had no complaints here.

Overall, if you're thinking about buying your first decent 4x4, buy this one. If you're reading cubicle reviews to inform your decision, that's of course fine, but you probably don't need a more expensive puzzle than this. A five-star cube with no significant drawbacks that can be customised significantly to your liking. It's perfect for improvement, and perfect for getting yourself hooked on the event.

Really Good 4x4

This cube is amazing, it's extremely stable for a 4x4, very controllable, and has very quick outer and inner layers. Corner cutting is decent, could be better but won't stop you from getting fast times with the cube. The outer layers can corner cut with an entire edge piece misaligned, the top layer can corner cut down the middle when misaligned by 3/4 of an edge piece, and the center layers can corner cut when misaligned by half of a center piece. The cube comes with fairly strong magnets that certainly help the cube's stability and controllability. Out of the box, tensions are a bit tight so be sure to use the provided screw driver to adjust them to your liking. Lastly, out of the box, the cube is very dry and scratchy when turning. This can be fixed by adding lube into the cube. On mine, I put weight 5 on the pieces and now turning the cube feels amazing. I would recommend this cube to people with a decent amount of experience in 4x4, specifically people averaging under a minute looking for an upgrade to drop their times further on a budget. If you're just starting 4x4 for the first time, I would advice getting the MFJS Meilong instead due to it's greater appeal to beginner's and quality for its price.

Just wow, an amazing cube for the price!

The MGC4 is an extremely fast and locky cube OOTB. The speed is 10x better than my dead GTS2 M at least. It has a very papery smooth feel, but with a hint of crunchy-ness. As of writing this, I have done no setup, just about 50 solves. There is no break in process really, other than just a solve or two. I've been able to get my average times on it, 35s pretty consistently. This cube is without a doubt the best 4x4 on the market right now at $20. If you have a dead 4x4 like me or are just tired of your current main, I would definitely go ahead and pick this cube up for yourself. My channel, MC 5tuffz has an unboxing video out about it with a more detailed look on how it turns and performs.

Was this only me?

My cube came really papery and had a lot of lockups. Is this only me or is that how it feels without a lot of solves?

Can I get a free cube?

Hi just wondering but like is there any way I can get a free cube? I know these are read by actual humans and was wondering if you could tell me in that little area where you respond. I was just wondering, but if you can that would be great. Im not exactly rich and can't afford something like a tornado V3 or Gan14 but if your willing a free cube would really make my day. Thank you, and hope you guys at the customer review department have a good day!
P.S - Here's some photos of my puppy to brighten your day!

Congrats on the PB!

Main After Set Up

OOTB, its very dry, but after setup and break in, the cube has become my main.
Would not reccomend to beginners if you can't set up a 4x4. If this is you get the Qiyi MS 4x4.

Best 4x4

This is easily the best 4x4 out there. it was a little papery out of the box, but after breaking it in it is the best 4x4 I’ve ever used.

My Instant Main!

This was my first magnetic 4x4 and my third 4x4. Initially, I didn’t expect it to be great out of the box. After watching some reviews on this cube, I knew this puzzle would be the one for me. The cube was a bit dry and the layers were a bit sandy but they were incredibly fast. I added some Weight 5 and Martian lube, and it was great. The sandiness of all the layers was gone, and great smoothness and control boosted its performance dramatically which is why I instantly fell in love with it. Beware, this is cube is prone to popping and locking up, and I advise you to keep the tensions tight (not too tight). This can compete with some flagships, but I’m not 100% sure. Corner cutting is decent, but I wouldn’t advise you to do it on big cubes. YJ is a big deal right now with its amazing puzzles and amazing prices. (Make good choices) and this cube is something to consider. Overall it’s a 5/5 for me. Highly recommended for beginners and pro’s. Hope this review helps!

It's good

I like yj mini 4x4 better because it's easier to turn/faster then the mgc.
Nothing is technically wrong with this mgc 4c4. It's pretty good.
Idk though, the magnets are too strong or it just doesn't turn easy enough. I have to put a lot of force into turning I get tired practicing over and over. my 3x3 part, the center will turn with the outside layer(outside magnets are too strong. So messups are very common during parity.
Iv been getting used to the yjmini4x4. So using this mgc feels big and slow.
Mgc4x4 is my backup main. It works. Just needs to be faster.
(It needed setup) was very loose and so dry. Angstrom worked good. Still slow though.
I'm still on the lookout for the best 4x4 that turns as smooth as a 3x3. Maybe I won't find one.

bruh

Not sure why this cube has barely any reviews or praise anywhere? I only noticed it from Felik's speedcubing spreadsheet as his main so I got it out of curiosity, completely blows my WuQue M out of the park in every way.
